I am sure this has been asked before but i cannot find it in the forums, my computer is weel above the required area's for this game, it should run it fine, however it does not. If anyone knows how to turn off and turn up certain settings in a config folder i need to know. You could do this in doom 3 to boost capabilities and is ultimately the only way to fix the game. If anyone happens to know what else could be limiting performance (and dont tell me its my hardware, because i will know this is wrong, regardless of what your nerd A** thinks). Im sorry to sound a bit like scrooge here but its gettin on me nerves. So if anyone knows the name of that folder or what is causing the fps problem please tell if ye could.

Go to tools then graphics and start lowering your settings. Hate to say it but it is your hardware. No machine yet can play the game with all the settings on max.

You stupid, stupid *******, it settings at lowest possible, and i hate to say it but there is a machine that can play it on max its called an overclocked duel processor's with two pci 6800's. Mine can play this game, even the tech support guy at galaxies says i can play this game on decent setting recieving no lag. I see you fools know nothing, i wont be coming back here. It is because galaxies has a file imbedded in the programming limiting the video ram or clock speed used on it because of my equipment, and i cannot get to that file.

Things that make you go hmmmm,
1. Ask question, you dont get answer you like, you must respond negative and of course, those that tried to help from their own exp, must be stupid because they did not give the answer you wanted to hear, which leads me to number 2,, Why ask, ?
I belive that operator error and bad attitude go along way, this is one of the reasons I no longer offer help. I read these forums there is some really good information here and really good posts, but I have to say , I read more childish, and total disrespect, for others in the alakazam forums than on any other, which is sad, IT'S ONLY A GAME,,, have fun geesh...

I totally agree Kevlarto. Pretty ridiculous. But what's funny is I'm running a AMD Athlon 2.2gHz; A GeForce 5200, lol; and 1028mB RAM. My game runs smooth. Anyways, have fun out there.

Go to the Games Option Button on your LAUNCHPAD and check the following:
1.Disable Bump Mapping
2.Use Low Detail Textures
3.Disable Multi-Pass Rendering
On the Advanced Tab check the following:
1. Use Low Detail Characters
2. Use Low Detail Meshes

And be nice
