Bard Guide #2Follow

Sorry 'Tard i had to do it.


Stats
1-20: Agi/Stam
20-?: Dex/Str (? = Once you have maxed Dex/Str)
?-45: Agi
45-60: Stam. Bit of Dex/Str/Agi.



Tips
Chain-Buff: Once you reach 30 you can chain your path spell. What it means is once one comes off, use your other one so it always up except for the 2-3 seconds it is off. I usually lay a Concerto line spell on so it will tick for the time inbetween.
Level/Classes: Make a hotkey that asks "Level and Class(es)?". So you always know if you are going healerless (Get HoT buff out), Alc in group (Explain and leave), Ect.



MCs
Misntrel
Good For: Raids/Groups
Best At: Battery
Ups: Always welcome on raids. 1K Mana Really helps during Raids/High Mana-Using Classes
Downs: Huge Cha Req.


Gypsy
Good For: Solo/Groups
Best At: Hit-Taking
Ups: Soloing/Farming with ease. Also a + for farming with a steal. Mods really strength your Charactor.
Downs: Not as high damage as some would suspect.


Bravo
Good For: Groups/Solo
Best At: Damaging
Ups: High-End Damage, Nice buff, Decent AoE when many adds.
Downs: Hard to Get. Gypsy can take better hits.


Immortal
Good For: Raids
Best AT: Buffs
Ups: Raids can use that HP/Mana Buff. Also no Req so you can place TPs however you wish.
Downs: No real +On damage or Mana-Making. Though they do help the max of your mana, they won't help regain it. (Bards main purpose)


Misntrel/Gypsy
Bravo
Immortal- Update Later; Nash Doesn't Have.



Paths
Mana- Great for ANY Group! Keeps your group going and kills coming. Very easy to find group, espcically if you get the hang of Chain-Buffing them.
Combat- Toup 4 Melee-Stat buff. Okay in groups, though not a huge plus. You will be booted from many groups and will not benifit them much. The only place i see this helping much is in a Solo/Duel/Farm area.

Go Mana!



Forms
Lion- Great Help. Stam/Agi = Power-Pool. Plus Extra Agi Abil-Buff for more mana.

Gator- From what i hear very bad UNTIL you get to 40 and have your abil quest done. You get an Agi/Stam buff to help.

Rat- Pretty cool. Dex/Agi. I hear it -Str but i don't know if this is true. If it is; Bad Form. If not; Good Form.

Bear/Wolf- Depends on Stats. If you haven't added Enough Str this is great form. Most have max Str(/Dex) so the +Str may not come to much help. But if you added too much Agi/Dex this is great forms.



Gear
Weapons: I love the Shocking Foils. 421 Damage. Procs for 100. Great Weapon. Before those levels, just use as high damage weapon you can find.

Armour/Jewlery: Crafted is Best. Get some Str/Dex and max it.



CMs
Stats/Mods
-Toup 4 Melee Stat-Boosters/Maxers.
-OFmods and DFmods.
-Remember; Stat-Boosting CMs help you reach your MC
Abils
-Faster Recast on Attacks
-Plus Heal CMs. (Haven't baught yet, hopefull will soon)
-Stronger Were-Form CMs (If you have them)
-LeaderShip (If your Human)
-IMO Don't buy the Charm CM.




Races
Elf
Reasons: Immortal
Don't Go: If you don't plan on Going Immortal
Ups: Have Immortal. +Dex/Agi Boost

[Human[/b]
Reasons: Great CMs (DF OF Mods / LeaderShip), ZK
Eastern: FP. Good Choice
Westen: Not too good, only if you like the place.



This is the end of my guide.
Feel free to give me pointers and opinions of things to add.

No forms give HP until 2nd and 3rd forms.

Nothing gives a minus until second and third form.

Rat does sbtract from str.

Minstrels suck.

Alchemists uses a draught that gives 3 big ticks of power, this will ***** it up and they won't get that first instant tick.

guides ok, could add some more stuff like how you should buy your cms, and how much you should get.

also, whats wrong with alchemists?

I just want to know the reasoning behnd basing your 1-20 tps into stam/agi...I mean, some is good but, your a DD, so BE a DD, even if it is at lower levels.

Because it's the two main power-pools. Can't do much without mana, can you? Also tanks at low levels seem to be more new to tanking, so they will lose agro easier, also taunt isn't too great. That stamina and agility will really help you keep up all your buffs, use attacks when come back and everything.

if u didnt add str or dex til 20 u were seriously gimped

bards arent meant to take damage WE ARE DDS NOT TANKS. all classes should be able to take dmg. and umm u forgot GIVING MANA

Didn't. And i don't think i'm gimped at all. I guess i some how managed to max my dex and str without adding it then.
