i was wondering if any bard out there has bought the 51 charm ability? i heard it was gimped. i heard the duration is like 10 minutes but the spell has a 30 minute recast. is this true? i don't know if i would ever buy it, but i would still like to know more on this.

Nope, don't buy it. Waste of CMs.
Unless you like wasting CMs go ahead and buy it, though i don't think you do.
It could be fun (not sure) but, won't do more for your character.

The recast is 30 min the duration is anywhere from 28 min to 40 min.

8/10 times i never lose the pet i can keep recharming usually lasts over 30 min.

At 51 you can solo eg with no problems with a lv 42 hollow
At 55 you can solo the entire camp at once of slayers
Really difficult to get the ebony recluse do to its high charm resist takes an enc up to 20 times. so not recommended on charming

Its a fun ability and imo it is worth if if you got all your other abilities you want.

Only downfall is the recast if you use it and miss the charm your out of luck for 1/2 hour

ok... the charm suxs....

However... :) It could be usefull when you are trying to solo something and just need a little extra something to get you over the edge. Bad thing about that is... when you do NEED that charm to help in a tight squeeze, the wildlfe around you is too low, or too high!

Did I mention that this charms suxz?

Now, if only someone whould have told me this BEFORE I bought it!
