Ok, I'm really really leaning towards the sks now, but I need to know. What mobs could an sk mt?

And if I was raiding, could I be a secondary tank to a warrior? like against some of the almost impossible mobs?

I heard there is a three headed dragon, that crits and has aoe. I dunno the name, but I heard that an sk has no chance against tanking it.

i think ur talking about Noroxus or something like that. since ive heard slayers can solo vox i would think they can mt pretty good

Having a 51 sk i could mt anything that a 55 warrior could mt..i've done it...Having two guildies on a 59 slayer and the other a 60 deathknight(nashua) yes a sk properly built can mt anything a warrior can. It's all about def hp and resists

Keep in mind that if I listed all of my characters, my sig would take up more space than this thread has so far. How many classes are there? I have *at least* that many characters. I understand your assumption.
Now, back to the topic. To make an SK be MT, you need high Sta/Agi, and decent Str. Deathknight would be the best MC choice, not that you can't MT with other MCs, DK just makes it easier. Depending on race, there is perhaps 1 or 2 Racial MCs that could work.

With a 42 SK of my own (blood path, doing Heroic Hunter MC), built on advice from several 60's of both MC's, I've observed that an SK built for the purpose can MT any time, any where. Ideally, the best SK MT is a Death Knight with TP's put into STA, STR, AGI in that order, with every DEF mod and resist CM available.

Having seen a 56 DK tank Bertoloxxus no problem with my own eyes, I'd say if you want an evil MT, then go DK and concentrate more on pure tanking attributes than duelling/soloing ability.

Thanks for the advice everyone! I had to ask because of several people in my group saying that an sk could never mt like a warrior.......They probably have just seen some really crappy sks though.

Yes, a Troll Savage could be built to MT. Pretty much any of the tank MCs *can* be built to MT, only thing is that some MCs are better suited for it than others. Not knowing any specific people with MT built tanks. Ask Nashua about DK MTs. Byron about Soldier MTs. If anybody else knows, or has an MT built tank, chime in with your stats, and what MC you are/or planning to be.
