To all of u BH out there:plz stay neutral or at least be decent enough to hunt jedi of the OPPOSITE faction from yourself.
I don't mind being hunted cause it's a part of the game,BUT I do mind being hunted by BHs from the SAME faction as myself.:-(

Why bother getting involved in the GCW if u're gonna be backstabbed by some BH with his own agenda?
So my advice to all of u padawans out there is:if u see a fellow faction member who's a BH and he/she's in trouble,do not help.Cause when u're on the terms,faction apperantly don't mean **** to these guys.

The reason bounty hunters are hunting same faction is two things
1) the terms do not tell you faction, so unless you know the jedi already you wont know till you get there and if i've spent ten mins chasing you down I dont really care what side your on,
2) if your same faction odds are your group mates are same faction aswell, means you cant gank (god i hate that word) the bounty hunter with your mates, makes soloing much fairer all round,
and lets not forget for the most part the glactic civil war has been dead for a long time on most servers, afew pvp guilds aside theres sod all happerning, battlefields were switched off months ago with no replacment in sight,

i hear what u're saying but still, it's very depressing to be killed by a fellow reb/imp...
I for one had my principle about this. I never, and I do meen never, attacked one on my own side. Sure it took longer time to get invest 4 cos I keep taking imp jedis (considering eclips server is over populated by 'em) and this was very annoying, but I manage, and I came in good contact with one of the best imp PvP guild on the server too thanks to not killing their jedi.

dont get me wrong I understand why your upset and I agree with you in princible but the game is compleatly out of line with where it should be,
untill the GCW is fixed or at least doing something, I'll hunt anything I'm paid to hunt,
I've had more skimishes with npc stormtroopers scanning me and making me overt in the last 2 weeks then I have had GCW battles in the last 2 months,

i feel your pain, they have been catching me when im shopping and attacking me and kicking me out of the shop for 5 minutes, not to mention killing me
Being an Imperial B-Hunter myself I follow only 1 rule. Do not kill Members of your own guild.
If you are Imperial, This does not give you a "please dont kill me coz I am imp" card.
Who is to say that you have not betrayed the Empire in some way.
If you are being hunted, you have done something wrong.
However, I do this to make money, And I give fellow imperials an option. Pay me the bounty am I due, or get vaporised.
Its up to you.....

Bounty Hunters are not known for any loyality in or out of the game. If they wanted same side BH's not attacking Jedi they would have enforced it in the terminals. Being that Imperials, for example, cannot attack other Imperials unless it is a BH and Jedi, it is clear this is the way the game is supposed to be played.

so if the hunted has the rank of colonel and the BH is a luitenant,both are covert members of the same faction,in other words they're soldiers - brothers in arms.
must be "nice" to know that as a commanding officer u can expect getting killed by a fellow officer.wich should salute u every time u meet btw.
that's a good army structure...
my point is that BHs that claim they're playing the role of a BH,really should consider playing the role as an army officer as well if they're not neutral.
u do not hunt your fellow soldier friends and commanding officers.

The Empire looks down on Jedi, all Jedi even Dark. He wants Lord Vader and himself as the only Jedi. Also think of Bounty Hunters as more leaning toward a side than been on them. As my BH friend says all the time, "I'm Imperial because they pay better."
At least they are playing in character unlike most Light Jedi. So many times I see them come to Bestine and kill all the Storm Troopers leaving the crafters and the newbs at the mercy of the nasty stuff in Bestine. So I have to hang around and protect them until the Storm Troppers respawn cause the Jedi run like #%^%# after they kill the Storm Troopers. So much for protecting. I guess Luke and Ben would have been different if the Storm Troopers in the movies dropped posters.

When I was a BH I alaways played after character, I never hunted Dark Jedi, and I always make those of lower rank (which meens everyone) salute me or else I give then a good shake down aka Gunnery Sergeant Heartman from Full metal jacket.
