The Dragon named SkyFollow

My guild (Dam Dirty Trolls) killed Sky, a dragon in Box Canyon, this mourning at 4am! Memebers had been camping out Sky for about 3 days (thats in RL days)!!!! Keep in mind, Sky can randomly spawn any where from 3 to 22 days, So you have to camp and sit there, and wait, wait, wait...

THis is how they did it. You choose a scaraficial lamb to die, preferably a lowbie to reduce debt, to sit on the golden rock.
Then, all other peeps hang out in various parts of the cave, and out of the AoE. Then, wait. One group is chosen to be the KILL group. This grp will receive all the XP and loot, other groups are there just to help with damage. Becuz of the long wait, most peeps are busy watchin tv or reading or something. This is where the LAMB comes in. The Lamb will just sit on the golden rock, when Sky (Dragon) appears, he will devour the Lamb, the Lamb will cry out as he dies. This cry will alert all others, who has thiers TVs turn up way loud! Then they all kill ole Sky.

Well, I joined the guild at the cave to wait for Sky... but I had to go to bed for werk today... and as my luck would have it... I missed the battle. The DDT killed ole Sky at 4 am!

My friends guild went and hunted Dreadnaughts for a while the other day, and I think that was probably just as exciting. The level 60 wizzie, used root on the enormous brute, while the lvl 55 war sat their taunting and tauning until he ran out of power. Then, they would have one person (preferably a ranger) take his bow and shoot it with a mighty blast. A druid would quickly sow the tank and off he ran in a giant circles. While he was doing really big donuts the rest of the guild (about a dozen 50+ people) all melee started to kick the crap out of the dreadnaught. They ended up dropping about 11 of those bad boys in one night. It was unreal. Hopefully someday my guild will be able to do that, just as soon as we get a little bit higher in level =)
