I am wondering if anyone else has these feelings. When I am in a group and someone dies and I run away and live I laugh my *** off. I know it is a taboo thought, but it just makes me laugh. I never say anything to the group because they would want my nuts. Does anyone else laugh when others die? Am I messed up in the head?
I'd think so. LOL I try to evac the grp if i kno for a fact we cant survive, since im a wiz and "blessed" with that capability
I think it all depends on the situation. If your able to fight do so. If theres a mob of 10 on you and you know its a lost cause,Id say "run" a couple seconds before you run. At least have the decency to let the others know your bailing.
I know if a mob of ten was on my group and i know were gonna die. Without a doubt. I say run. And im running like a scared lil girl with the boogie man on my heels. If someone dosnt have the common sense to know the difference thats there problem.

:) It depends I guess.... but my outlook dictates that I never get mad for dying.
But yeah, I have laughed when we all died becuz of a good plan gone to hell! It shakes things up and wakes ye up!

I kinda feel bad when someone dies. And I normally don't run unless, like alcholica stated, there are 10 mobs on my ***. In that case, I'll taunt as many as i can, tell my grp to run, hit dash and drag mobs the opposite direction of my group.

A couple of nights ago grp pulled 3 ice giant warders..well as soon as i saw i hit evac...they all ran but by the grace of god they were close enuf when i casted and they were thankful..la di da di da...(it was pretty cool tho)
I never run. I stand till the bitter end!

I usually feel really bad when one of my group members die. I can honestly say the only time I laugh is when either 1.) Someone does something REALLY stupid 2.) like someone else said, a plan goes bad or 3.) yeah we have 10 mobs on our ***. But me, I'm usually there healing until I die, LOL explains my debt I guess.

LOL Donuil! There was a couple of points I could have run last night and let ya die! :-) But yeah, that's the reason for my debt, oh well :-)

I should clarify a bit. I don't laugh sometimes when someone dies, I laugh everytime regardless of circumstances. It can even be someone I like I still **** myself laughing.
Also, I never say "Run." That is time that I could spend running and laughing. I am laughing right now just thinking about a tank pulling a couple too many and me being on my way toward the sunset.
Does any else do this?

I usaully laugh my *** off when ppl die in my group,but most of the time its me dieing so i dont laugh to much at ppl when they die. They will live because i go on a healing frenzy and pull the aggro and then ill tell everyone to run but that is also y im stuck at lvl 37 because of the debt.
LOL. I laugh a lot. Especially when I die because I focus my healing on my group and never notice my own health. lol
It is really good though when your tank pulls 5 mobs and starts screaming for MEDIC! I never get tired of that. Of course I try to heal him but it is a lost cause, then I get my *** out of there.

no matter what i stay there till im dead. its not like debts gonna be there forever atleast if i stay with the mobs theres a greater chance the rest of grp can run away and survive the fight

Well when i die in a group i usually laugh for a good 20 minutes. Not because they died, because i invis myself while they got the agro and run in the opposite direction. I feel bad, when they die, but i feel better when i know that i have lived because of them and i usually let them know that their death wasnt in vain.
The way I like to look at it, is the noobs will always die. If you died in the group, your a noob. Plain and simple. Everyone's death can be prevented if everyone does their job. But if one ***** is pulled out of the assembly the whole thing collapses. So in short, one guy screws up and everybody pays the price.
I don't find it funny if the rest of group dies, however I can't help but sit and think how much it's their fault. I realize that as a tank its my job to prevent deaths from occuring, and often I do.
However, if I tell everyone to run like hell and they sit there trying to take care of the mobs while I'm doing exactly what I told them to do, when they die its their own damn fault. I do things in a way that can normally save others. I'll taunt a few times, hit sprint or dash, and run.
I've not only pulled the mobs GOOD, but I'm running fast enough that I save my *** as well. But if the group decides to pull aggro, then for all I care they can die. Just my 2 bits =)

I don't usually run unless theres a lot of mobs on me. I usually fight to the death, and if im in a loyal group, they stay with me to the end. I guess it pretty much depends on wat kind of person u r
If I am the tank..then you bet I am going down fighting...I havent received my retreat cm yet...so unless the healer thinks fast to sow us (if they arent a cleric) then I am throwing the punches til I see the "you are dead" come up...hopefully by this point my group booked it..lol
If I am on my enchanter...then depending on the situation I am still throwing the root or casting damage spells til the end...but root is always good... root em til everyone rez's and gains power again...and then can help me fight..lol
If the tank dies and the healer dies and I cant root em... then I am not running either...chances are two hits and I am out anyways...so its cool...would rather not die..but I cant get too upset....I pretty much know most of my tanks by now and only occassionaly group with an unknown tank....so I know they have done their best to save our butts...the same with my melees and healers...

Oh and by the way..helpful hint..if you do KNOW you are gonna die...then by all means find a safe place to do it..lol I practiced this all the time...lol cause as an enchanter you get use to no ac....Just a helpful hint...LOL
