Bothan + Composite Armour?Follow

Hi, I play a bothan Combat Medic/Pistoleer and would like to know if I can manage to wear a good composite armour. How should I spread out my points and will I still be able to do both professions properly afterwards? Any ideas and suggestions are greatly welcome.
