My stuff is Nerfed??Follow

I dont know what is up with these dev idiots but they royally messed up this time trying to fix a dragon that drops so so rares by NERFING a ton of loyal players accounts. Is in a word, stoopid. I mean if they want more players to go to the plane of sky make it sorta like the IoD dreadnuaght. I dont know why they took 100 hp off character 100 ac and like 10 ability points. Thats insane! Thats the difference in my character now. From what it used to be. I mean the closest thing to islespirit boots was rubecite at lvl 47. Tell me why [red]lvl 47 boots AC 112 have better ac than AC 98 lvl 52 boots ? I mean the mobs on Kerra are tougher than Cazic Thule mobs right? IDK. I think they messed up Royally with this one. I for one am quitting the game. With FFXI right around the corner, and well, my experience with the ps2 version of a pc classic has been less than awesome. I basically dont like spending hours and days of my life striving to get something I think is a lil better than some lowly rubecite boots then they decide to just go ahead and strip me of that item, or any player who either spent a ton of cash for an item or a ton of time farming one.

Its just plain not right. And to top it off they plan on reimbursing people by giving them a cm point? WTF is that all about? You obviously knew this would p1ss people off or else you wouldnt have made that provision. I for one dont think a cm point is worth all the stats that were removed from me without my consent. I got a quote from Arcadin right after this "update". "Has my *** stopped bleeding yet?" I for one need a blood transfusion from all that I have lost. In fact I need a transplant to another world or in fact just quitting Mmorpgs altogether.....

Share your thoughts on this matter take a stand if enough players take a chunk outta there pockets they'll get the hint. I mean if they are just allowed to do what they want without asking players opinions thats sorta wrong and against all that America stands for right? Well, maybe not, we do have a president that lost the popular vote. And if money is power I for one am taking my 10 dollars and sticking it back in my pocket.[/orange]

Thanks for a fantastic and outstanding update on Feb 5, 2004 SOE. I'll mark it on my calender as the day my anger at what you've done lifted the fog of your influence over my gaming.......

yeah my isleguard stuff was nerfed too but heh, i really dont care. I still have fun playing. EQOA doesnt have that much of an effect on me to get so mad if some of my stuff gets nerfed. My toon is probably mad but not me =) Its just a game, have fun and dont get so angry when an update doesnt always go your way.

Truthfully alot of people are addicted to this game: literally. I dont think they are able to quit. So good luck trying to get people to quit with you. O and SOE is already set finacially, a couple of people quitting won't really effect them (or so I believe).

Have fun man.

P.S. If you are addicted to EQ there is a 12 step program to help get rid of your addiction. Its sold at your local pharmacy. =)
