Probe DroidsFollow

I am a novice bounty hunter WOOT! Can anyone tell me the point of droids if you can use the spy net work ?

You have to use the droids once you get investigation 1. The spynet will only give you the biosignature. You then need to send out the probe droid to find the planet your mark is on, and the seekers to track him/her once you actually get to that planet. At investigation 0 you do not need the droids.
