Hey i would like to know how the rating and karma systems work/ whats the advantages/ disadvantages of being at a higher rank?

The Karma systems is how people rate your post, you flame and grief others your karma goes down with your ratings, if you make good post your karma and ratings tend to go up. If you become a scholar you can rate post on the forums, and if your karma/ratings gets to low below default the regular filter settings will skip you post.
