What is the count of people needed to create a lasting guild?

having limited play experience, i can't help you as well as others but from what i understand, lasting guilds are succesful through their active role in the community and the people jump on board with that... in my own personal uneducated opinion, i'd say 5-10 people would be a good amount to start off a guild with this philosophy....

like i said, i don't really know that well but i plan on starting an imperial guild one day and have been pondering the same thing.

what server are you on? and technically you don't need more than 5-6, just make sure to find people you enjoy hunting with. also, when you get 3-4 people you enjoy playing with and who are like enough minded with you, form a guild council and set up the rules you want. you need to do this early, if you wait til you have a large number of people in the guild it can ge out of hand. people also like to know that there are rules up front.
good luck!!

Running a PA can be a lot of work. You and your friends better be ready to for it. Paying the upkeep on the PA stucture will take up some of your time. Finding new members even more. If you have plans on a full city...it will be a full time job. Do you really want to work when you play?

Good luck, I hope it works out for you.

Remeber, simply putting in an hour a day will NOT work..... that was the downfall of my reign at the PLA (on Valcyn... yes, the original Liberation Army!). When I noticed it was a problem, it was to late, and the guild was in an uproar! I tried to select officers, but it was just to late..... the guild revolted against me, and on 10/7/03, I was forced out of office. Later, on 10/10/03, I decided to disbad the guild with everyone's consent.... I made a lot of friends and gained some new insight..... It would be a very good world if everyone had that experiencce.... you really learn how to deal with people, how to plan attacks.....etc......etc

Oh yeah to answer the question, 1..... the guild leader

5. The answer is 5.

According to the Holocron (CTRL-H) in-game, under Frequently Asked Questions, the answer is 5.

The server runs a PA check script every 2 hours. If your guild doesn't have 5 active paying players in it, it is removed as a PA. The guild hall will still stand, but the tag and chat channel are destroyed until you have 5 paying players.
