Hate To Repeat Myself, New Jedi could Herald New PC ClassesFollow

If you really want my full opinion on the subject read my string ont the "what do you think of New Jedi Path. But to summarize.

Changing the way the Jedi FS slot is open could in part due to upcoming increase in player chaacter classes. It has already taken many palyers now a litle over six months to acomplish what the devs said would take three months, and that is with the aid of the hollos. What if I were to say take the existing 30 or so odd classes and add two or three basses professions and 5 or 6 extended specialty professions? How long would it then take the players to find their silent profession Mastery to open their FS.

FOREVER!!!

This is obviously not a way in which Jedi could be atainable by the Masses, both devoted life gamer and casual player. A change was obviously going to have to be made to meet that much promissed Updates by the DEVs and the Players expectations.

Don't Cry or Nash your teeth, kick a dog, or slap your mother, just Nod your head and keep on keepen on.

It sounded the originaly way before holocrons was actually kinda cool cause it meant that someone would have sorta randomly stumbled into FS without even knowing. But I guess the devs wanted to speed things up a little.

I agree. What can you do? Its really not our game we play it and pay for it but still we have to learn to have fun with what they provide, or just be in a state of rant and misery. Whats the point of that? Someone of course is always upset with change but thats just the way things go everywhere.

First of all, the devs said getting jedi would take about 6 months for the first ones to show up and more likely 9-12 months. Players got their FSCS open in 4 months. This was mainly because of holos and the need to curb the heavy turnover rate that was occuring (and still is).

Now that the Devs are thinking about changing FS slot to open by doing a quest, I can't see how that would lead to more classes. So I guess you are totally wrong ;-P

I don't think he is saying that the change to FS slot will lead to more classes. What he is saying is that maybe they are adding more classes so they had to change the FS slot. More classes would lead to to many grinding proffessions. I'm not sayin he is right; just that you misunderstood what he was saying.
