In-game chatFollow

If I want to chat to someone who is playing galaxies, but I'm not in-game, how can I do it? I downloaded Station Launch Pad (http://launchpad.station.sony.com/), which I thought would allow me to do this. Has anyone done this before?

I don't know much about that, but just looking at the link, it looks like it would only allow you to chat with people that are playing the free online games, not the premium games.

I could be wrong though.
