best way to drop CH?Follow

#1 Jan 26 2004 at 8:02 AM Rating: Decent
hi all:)

im just about to slowly drop CH as i climb the CM tree.

i was wondering if anyone had some advice on the best way to drop it.
i want to use the best single pet possable as i drop so i was thinking of keeping my taming wild and visious the same as i drop skills and not worry about commands like mount etc.

i also was wondering what will happen to the pets in my datapad as i drop skills giveing me a num of pets mod.
will they dissapear or will they all stay in my DP and then say i cant store the pet once i try to after ive called it?

also could i drop my best pets on a CH trainer as i drop skills allowing me to use them. would they just lose HAM and keep there armour rating and resists?

another question.
what would happen if, presumming that i can hold the pet in my DP as i drop skills, i dropped my lvl46 kimo on the CH trainer at novice CH or even no CH at all.would i get a lvl 10 kimo with light armor and good kinetic, energy resists?

any advice or ideas would be great.
thx:)

Sounds reasonable. It's your call.

Not sure. I'd think the cannot store after called might be a pretty good scenario. You might get a message that you must release a pet when you get to the point of not being able to hold x amount of pets.

Doubt it. I believe that the pet will become a lower level version of that pet, including the HAM, resists, armor for the lower level.

No. Kimo's cant be level 10, because their base level is higher than that.

Hope this helps some.

Dang, not a lot of answers eh... Dumped MCH after the last CH patch. I got screwed because they changed the pet level thing.
As for the pets in you data pad. I still have the pets I did not give away to my guild members on a nice starting CH I saw. I have no CH skills now but can still hold lots of pets ( can not get new ones of course ). They changed the transfer rules, so you can trade them, even to people that can not use them yet ( gave someone my lvl 32? bile pet ) I couild not use him nor could the person I gave it to. I lost the use of him early after dumping master and the top skill to the left. do not do this. I have yet dumped my pets on a trainer ( I always had pets at diffent levels to use. would be better to give a good pet to someone that can use it. vs.. put in a Ranco get a dewback..lol
I would try some other pet first.
Hope this helps a little.
