I think no matter what you do...if you are using an anonymus post...the rating will never change...its a default rating...try making a log in name and doing the same thing...

Ok, ice, click the link that is labeled "Your Account...". From there, your rating is shown as your posting karma. Mine's at 2.96 :( GL gettin it

Is your posting karma the same as your score, if it then I should get the title because one of my post got a 3.66 and I still didn't get it >=O whats wrong, and if not how do you get that up?

Posting karma is your score. However it is your AVERAGE of your scores. I could go into detail, but I think you may have passed elementary math :)

Yeah, it is an average of all your posts, plus each time you post you effectively rate yourself whatever your current base karma is. For example, you have a 2.55 base karma right now:

Each post you make now will be effectively a 2.55. I'm guessing you got on someone's bad side when you first started posting or something. Repairing it at this point may take too long. you might be better off making a new user name and starting over.

I Had No idea how I had gone blue/scholar lol. My question is, now that it's been covered as to how it happens... If you fall below that rating, do ya lose it? And just how "important" is the ranking system? Only difference I've noticed is the little bars in post about rating posts, and I still rarely bother to do those lol.

How do I end my account? I only got one email address.

Yes you do lose it if you fall below that rating. I did and for what reason is beyond me. I keep up with these postings really well and have noticed several other people that have lost it and I haven't seen a bad or offensive post by any of them. I don't know, It is in the hands of those that have the power I guess :(

Yes you can still get it with a free account. To get your rating up I would suggest

- Trying to be helpful when someone asks a question (make sure your info is correct).

- Not talking crap or being overly critical of anyone when they are wrong. Maybe trying to nicely correct the mistake or bad info.

- Keeping "STFU" out of all your posts.

- Not doing stuff that if everyone did would clutter the boards, i.e.
- listing every item they want to sell on the boards (imagine what it would look like if everyone did that)

- ask for help on a level 5 quest, I mean I've seen some posts on here, that if you would have asked around in a town you would have found the answer easily.

I guess I'm just trying to help you ;) by giving you a few things that I personally try not to do that would cause someone to rate posts down.

P.S. Did I mention try to avoid telling everyone you hate them , swearing, and in general appearing to be here for no other reason than to be a moron. That will probably bring your rating down too, LOL.
