need help placing items in a house :: World of Warcraft

helllo i need help placing items so that they are raised off the ground, like an item looks as though it is on a table. ive been to other places and seen this done and i was curious on how to do this. thanx

Currently the only way to adjust the elevation of an object requires stairs. Dropping an item on the stairs will establish its height from the ground, and you can move it freely on that plane. If you don't have stairs, you're completely out of luck. However, I have heard *rumors* that this will change in the future. Let's keep our fingers crossed.

One item that WILL drop say onto a table and stay there rather than dropping through the floor is Breath of Heaven. There for if you are setting up a cantina you needs lots of that if you want it to appear as drinks are on the table. :)

Theres still alot of stuff that looks cool and is big when dropped. I like the food and chem tool, droid tool, structure tool, locked containers, creature habitats (same graphic), wound packs, spices, organic food, foraged items are cool looking IMO. Oh ya and fish just here and there. Oh and one more. I like to drop a tent in the house too.
