I am a 21 wiz on ferrans hope and I was hoping someone could give me a place to read about things like Epics and choosing a path etc. This is my first MMORPG and i just jumped in and started playing. There is soo much more to it I see now. I fear I may have overlooked somethings.

Thanks !

That big phonebook looking strategy guide is a great place to start. There is also a lot of information on this site. Another good way to learn about paths are to ask higher level people of your race/class. They will offer some insight on what they have chosen and why. I'm sorry I have never had a wiz so I can't really answer any path questions.

From what I've seen so far as a Wizard, I recommend the power path at level 20. That would be the Mental Focus spell. This should be your first path option as far as that goes. As for your training points go if you group alot, as I do, I recommend that you primarily focus on just Int and Dex. I am about even on both stats and have an 1800 power pool with an average damage of about 450 per spell hit and a nuke hit of about 700. I feel that's not too bad considering that I haven't even done my 20 path quest yet. You might want to consider raising your Str a little as it effects some of your spells such as all of your binding spells and your power gathering spells. I haven't taken care of that yet but probably will soon.

Hope this helps GL/HF

Well, the path that you really take depends more on you. There is not really a advantage or disadvatage to what path you take, take the druid for example. The HoT path can help you as a healer, but the DoT path can help you solo as was i when i could solo a tea garden guard at lvl 30. But i suggest that you stick with one all the way until you are 49 because it may become "stronger". As for a wizard yes, i would probably go with the power path as to they need power for their nukes. As for strategy for a wizard i would put my base points into intelligece as primary then i would go with the second power pool dextirity, and finally even tho some ppl would disagree with me i would go with stamina because that way if the tank is not able to hold the aggro at high lvls (it can keep you alive with just a couple hp at IoD in some cases). Hope this helps.

Um, there's not Quite a HoT path for drd.. it's a 3-tick Group only Heal. HoT implies that it resembles regeneration spell which Is a HoT spell.
