Network Adaptor ProblemFollow

#1 Jan 16 2004 at 6:38 PM Rating: Decent
I just returned from vacation and now my network adaptor does not work, I took my PS2 with me and it worked fine while on vacation, but when I returned home it does not recognize that my network adaptor is hooked up, I have tried unhooking and re-hooking it back up, has anyone else had this problem? Im goin to probably have to purchase a new network adaptor. (I think that it may have been from the security scanners at the airport but im not sure)

Have you tried deleting your network settings on your memory card, running through the set-up process and saving a new profile?

Are you running it on a high speed or dial-up line? Have you verified that the line is good? If it is high-speed try moving one of your pc's to that line and testing it. If it is dial-up try connecting your phone to the line.

Just a few suggestions.

The first suggestion is a good one, I would start with that (delete network settings on your memory card). If that doesn't work start going through the rest of his suggestions, or if you can antie up the long distance charges and just call sony.
