GOD DAMN SURVEY MACROFollow

#1 Jan 16 2004 at 1:10 PM Rating: Default
ok ive tried this thing a million bloody times. exacly the same as other peoples. making 2 macros next to each other to loop. however after i make it perfectly and get it going my player starts going absolutely nuts. he tries to survey 50 times in 2 seconds. sits stands sits 5 times a second. and heal keeps healing i dont get it. this is how my macro looks.

/t self starting 1;
/kneel;
/sample;
/pause 6;
/sit;
/pause 23;
/t self ending 1;
/ui action toolbarSlot01

and the other one for the loop looks like this

/t self starting 2;
/afk;
/kneel;
/sample;
/pause 6;
/healself;
/pause 23;
/t self ending 2;
/ui action toolbarSlot00

both macros are in toolbar top left and next one to it..
in numbers 00 and 01...

now how does that look wrong. qwtf am i doing, he is on some serious speed right now. going nuts. thanx in advance

What is the "/t self starting" and /t self ending" stuff?

I don't use them in any of my survey macros, and mine works fine.

Also, check and make sure you don't have any . in front of your pause speed (as in .6 , .1, etc).

Don't put /afk in a macro first of all, you will log yourself out.

Why are you doing it in 2 macros, one is fine?

The heal in the second one may also interrupt the sample as well.

Just do it in one macro, take out the kneel, heal, and tells.

/stand;
/pause 3;
/sample;
/pause 30;
/sit;
/pause 20;
/ui action toolbarSlot00;

Throw in a heal line if you want after the pause 20 line

i put the /afk in the macro because as it loops it toggles afk on and off so that i dont get logged out. and the forum i read all of the /t stuff was in them i dunno why.

This is my survey macro:

/kneel;
/sample;
/pause 2;
/stand;
/sit;
/pause xx;
/follow;
/pause 10;
/stopfollow;
/ui action toolbarSlotxx;

The reason for the follow and stop follow is that you want to put something there, like a droid or a pet, and just select it. This is because I've noticed that if you do it without that, you'll just continually slide across the ground. The pause xx; is how long it takes you to recover your action completely. What this will basically do as that it will make you sample once, stop, rest, and then do it again.
