Ok as special events coordinator for my PA I need to send out email to guildies a lot. I've been having problems with my "groups" list under friends menu, its not holding the valid groups or any info I put in there...for instance guild armorsmith, architect etc etc. Is there a file in the SWG folder that I can save in a different location that I can replace later if this happens again? I have over 60 people I need to email on a weekly basis for raids and events and its tough picking through my friends lists for guild members. Seems like I have to do this atleast twice a week and its getting old...

As with most of the communication tools in SWG, the email system is crap! I won't go into a rant about how often group and guild chat would go down for me, but it was often :-(

My advice would be to get a web page for your PA and have a message board(members only) for it. Do your event coordination there. You only have to make a post for events and others can asks questions that others didn't even think and be able to give their input. This worked particularly well for my EQ guild whih had about 80 active members.

i am not sure whether it will help you, but if u are an officer in the guild and have the ability to send guild email then all you have to do is type "guild" as the name who you are sendin the email to and it will automatically be sent to all of the guild members... if you are unable to get this to work then maybe talk to the leader of your guild into putting you in as an operations officer or something, then u will have the ability to do it
