I agree with you 100%, but one thing i also should be said is that healers also need a lot of loot for drinks, they do alot of healing if your grinding hard. once those 2 have full inv. the rest of the grp can have it. but im also tired of hearing about how the grp should abc loot. as a caster i rarely if ever loot because i know what the bill can before for repairs. well i hope this helps out. Thanks and Happy Hunting

I think that the spilt of loot depends on the grp. I have no problem letting tanks take all the stackables as long as they are effective. If my tanks are lousy at keepin the agro or if I'm in a grp where the tank is a little lower level than me, then I will need some of the loot too. Granted it's usually not an issue at all but I just don't want us casters to get a bad name by needing loot occasionaly. We all got bills to pay sometimes.

All this talk of people needing drinks... Try using an ench or bard, they rock! I shouldn't say this because when I'm tanking, they're already hard to find. But that's why I just started one.

ok, once in a while people call me a ninja looter cuz i loot all the stuff. My repairs cost up to 10k-15k. With just stacks i get 8k ish (at dfc throughout a 1 hr grind). Most people i group with accuse me of this but not as many anymore. If you made a tank and got it to at least the mid 20s you would relize how much money you need to repair. Also some melees say, "Ya but i need to repair my weapons too." I agree but i also need most loot cuz my repairs are much more expensive then the melees. Ive resolved this by letting the melee loot for me and hav them give me stacks and split the weapons and gems with the rest of the group.

Wanted to mention something about this thread. I hear people talk of I need repairs too, when my tank loses mob and I get hit. I agree with you fully. However if were hunting for and hour and I lose a mob twice, it hits you maybe with a quad hit once each time, you don't need a whole lot.
Also, it does happen once in awhile, when it does, I leave that loot for the person who got hit, be it stacks, gems, or whatever (except rare, then nbfg, then roll).

I don't know how many times I have to say this, let's grind, I'll pick up whatever, when I fill, I only take stacks, then the rest split whatever else there is. So for those people who talk about drinks. First of all yes try a mana battery (I also just started one Budz 17 atm if you need one on CLW). Second of all I believe two, three at most of whatever is dropping other than stacks will buy one drink so don't tell me you need a ton. Also, it drives me fricking nuts when I'm grouped with someone who has to drink every 5-10 mins. If you have to drink that much something is wrong. Last night we were at mins for a long time and my healer said oom once! Others in group said you got drinks? He said, I don't need them, power is high enough, plus several pot items, I don't use drinks. AWESOME HEALER !! His name btw is fungsuki, and lay off, cuz he's mine (as long as I can keep up with him in levels, lol, SLOW DOWN)

Hmm. Correct me if im wrong but my perspective of ninja looting is when a rare dropps and somone in the group picks it up and leaves the group without rolling. How the hell do u ninja loot from another group when you cant touch their mob when its lying on the ground dead until after a few minutes go by. Don't you think by then that same group who killed it will eventually pick up the item to begin with. I wouldnt put that u hate dumb people, when u aint too bright yourself =/

i appoligize, i should clear that up. nobody said anything about picking it up and leaving, the talk was more along the lines of what should be called loot hog. if some1 picked up loot then cruised, yes you could call that ninja looting, but if your accusing some1 of taking all the loot, or all the good loot, that would be a loot hog.

before people started throwing around terms that they didnt know know the definition of (i.e. calling someone a noob, when really there a shiity player) a ninja looter, yes could be used to describe some1 who would leave the group after looting something good (i.e. dissappearing), or how about this. a group is standing around doesn't loot something, someone outside of the group standing nearby waiting for the time to expire on the groups right to loot, and they grab it and take off. perfect example, don't remember what level quest but it was an early 1, rare random spawn hard to find, some1 in my group finds the spawn starts attacking, because he saw another group running his way, we got there too late, right as he died while the other group was trying to ks, we finished the mob, while waiting for him to return, we're keeping the loot window open cuz the other group is sitting there. loot window goes away after a little while, and you have to reopen, the other group is sitting there hitting xxxxxxxx, well as soon as the first time the loot window goes down after the right to loot ran out the other group grabbed the loot and disappeared, perfect timing right as the guy who died to get this loot was coming in2 view. hence standing in the shadows, looting, and disappearing.
