Novice CHFollow

How does a Novice CH make money besides regular missions and scouting resources. Seems you can't really sell any pets till you are master because you cannot put the transfer option on them till then. Am I missing something or is this profession a no dollar profession till you are master. (keeping in mind that non-ch users get better level 10 pets from be's (though they need to be trained) and most are grabbing vehicles)
