I have only played Bard and Mage and they both performed decent as solo classes. But from what I have heard Sks are good too. Alch and Wizzies can do it but they need space to work it. And based off of everyting I have heard Necs seem to be the best for solo. But for my final answer I would say Bard. HoTs, PoTs, DoTs, AC buff/debuff, Str/Dex buff, SoW like ability, Armor is best of the non tank types, they have excepitional staying power, this is all my biased opinion.

Shadowknights are good soloers becuz they have harm touch an those drain abilities

I personally have found druids to be an excellent solo class, Damage path and utilizing the charm animal CM, make a huge profit and not have much repairs cuz your furry friend took most the hits.

SKs no other class has good attacks and those drain abilitys to heal yourself with.

Azlak lvl 40+ troll SK
Retired due to frustration brought on by chronic Err 6

A higher level Alch can be good. So long as they can heal themselves and have plenty of drinks. Their potions do devestating damage, and their few magical spells do the trick as well.

Or so i've found..

srry but sk are not the only soloers. All healers can solo, but if it is a tough mob they may have to root and drinkn a few times. Every caster especially the pet ones can solo easily, in fact necros have better taps and damage potential then a SK. Bards have an awesome heal now, along with buffs and power recovery. Rangers get a HoT spell to heal after the battle. And i know pallys can cast their heals more often and heal when they taunt, making battles alot easier for them

monks and mages work very well for me. my monks deals a crap load of damage at a time and can kill yellows ez. my 25 mage sends in his pet and starts linking every nuke he has and can kill a yellow fairly ez. its really hard but hes also able to kill reds but is in serious need of a medic afterwards lol.

try this on your mage for soloing at 25, have pet pull and attack and you heal. Cast your heal and then your buff, this way you get 2 heals. It works great, allowing my mage to solo a red with out the pet dying.

From my own playing, I would have to say Mages do pretty well. With the addition of CMs you have a pet for every occasion. At level 31, I can solo non-casting whites without the pet only losing 3 bars of health (HoT buff ticks him back to full in about 5 ticks). I don't like debt much, so I haven't tried too many yellows and reds, but I am pretty sure I can take low reds and yellows if I had to.

From what I have read, I would think if you are willing to take your time killing and leveling, pretty much any class can solo. If you want to level quickly soloing with any class is not the answer, IMHO.
