My character, Mithrahl, looked different when I logged into Frontiers. He had shorter hair, and a different face. If anyone knows how to get him back to normal, or the help number to call, please let me know as soon as possible. Any help would be appreciated. Thx.

well if you just got frontiers, this is because they updated the looks and changed them... you can select your char and then edit him...but you wont get him to look like he used to unless you used EQOA.
unfortunetly some of the character models have been altered, like gnomes are a bit bigger now and hair has more volume than it did before. Not to say those are bad things, just examples.
When you click on your character it gives you 2 opitions...1 is to enter the world and 2 is to customize. When you click on customize you can change your face looks anytime you want. Once you choose what you like enter the world to save your settings.

Was this the first time you logged into frontiers? If so, stuff changed may look different from before you were on frontiers. One neat thing about frontiers though, is that now you can change the appearance of your char. Every time you log in, you go to server screen first, then pick a char, then you have an option to enter world or change appearance, so if you don't like your char's new look, hopefully you can find something else you like.
If you didn't just switch to frontiers then I have no idea and that's very wierd.
Don't feel bad, your not alone, there are a lot of people who were not happy with high level stuff like robes and armor (that they may have paid a lot of money for, especially the cv I heard looks really bad). I was only level 31 I think at the time, and was wearing dun plate armor, and I think that looked a lot better after frontiers.

I did play the first one a lot, and then I got Frontiers. and today was my first day playing it. When I select my character it just says entering game world and then i'm there...Am I doing something wrong??
If your on frontiers your missing it, unless your frontiers is different than mine. You select your server then your char, then you should get a choice between I think Enter game or world and customize character. You should get a choice though, not sure on there wording. If you don't, I'd suggest busting out that long distance call.

its not the problem with his character looking different...once they made fontiers..all of the armor...weapons and characters looked different...frontiers just edited their apperance for good...u cant make ur char look like it once did

well u can change him by goin to edit character...which is on frontiers...if u still have EQ the first one..u cant edit...but if u have frontiers and when u went to log onto ur character and he looks different..most likely it is the upgrade...but u can try editing

How do you edit? I tried getting the edit option, but it just warps me in.

if u have EQ frontiers...when u click on your character...if gives you 2 options....Enter game world..&...Edit Character...if you click on edit character...you can remake him like you did when u create any char...:)
I don't wanna bother you any more, it's just that I select my server (Castle Lightwolf), Then I highlight my character,, press x, and the entering game world... box comes up. It never gives me an edit option. Thanx for your help and time, though. I don't want to be annoying...
are you sure that you are using the New Frontiers CD and not the older EQOA?
Ok, I restarted the Ps2 and when logged in it worked...Just a short virus probably. Thanx for all your help, though. I appreciate it : )
