I have played EQ on the PC for many years. I retired from it recently, cause i was bored. I was in a high end guild on my server in the end game content. But i can assure you that there are lots and lots of retarded players both on the PC as well as PS2. online games seem to be quite the breeding grounds for such people. Myself, i was a noble paladin, and had role-played as such. Helping others, never accepting monetary payments for rezing, or buffs..etc. But i know many folks that made the online experience annoying, you just need to ignore them, or walk away from it..

With the recent expansions, EQpc has taken on a whole new life. The Evolutions pack gives you all the existing expansions except for Lost Dungeons, which you can't use til level 20 anyway. The Stromm server is a newbie server, and while there are high level people and guilds, there are still plenty of newbies and lowbies with which to group. I wish I could talk some of the people I know from EQOA into EQ pc. For thirty bucks you get all the expansions. You just can't go wrong. There are jerks in this game, just like real life. You learn who they are and use Ignore judiciously and you'll be fine. Hope to see you there. Look for Byyr or Mcebil.
