whats wrong with people?!Follow

Earlier today i was crafting some armor. I noticed in my message box someone shouting," I am lost" over and over. I stopped what I was doing to answer. I sent a tell message and asked what he needed, and said the town he was in. All of a sudden, I get a message that says," WHAT MAKES YOU THINK I NEED ANYTHING. IM A **** SO WHY WOULD YOU THINK I DONT KNOW WHERE MY HOMETOWN IS?!". I replied I was just answering his question. He makes some quip about my lv, so i made a crack about it equaling his IQ. So for the next ten minutes I keep getting messages telling me how stupid I am (except with far more foul language), and this and that. I told himagain iwas trying to help, and didnt notice his race hence it being his hometown. Again , more foul language...i;m an idiot.I had all but dropped it , yet he kept going. What the hell?

The day before that, A guy asked for my help, and I agreed. While we were running around he mentions that my guild name sounded ****-erotic. RipRipRip. I got sick of it. Told Him he was on his own, that he wsa a jackass, and that I would kill him if I could. Why would you ask for help then disrespect those sacraficing their time to help you?
People need to start respecting one another.
I dont know....just thought I would share this. It is in the same vein of people demanding SOW from magic users. Things like this make me wish stupidity was painful.

O.K. dude, I have to ask, what is the name of your guild? Just curious, won't rip on you.

I have to ask Humdaan, why do you want to know?....lol....Sadly, I have to know too.

While helping some guildies out with the lvl 17 armor quests, we were in Q and someone kept asking for the location of the shadowhand bandits. I sent a tell saying that they were SE of Hagley. I got back, "Hey n00b, I am an elf, I am new to this zone." I then showed the character the road to take from the coach, that the 3rd or 4th turn to the right would take him to a farm. Over the hill behind the farm was a druid circle that had the bandits in it. I got back more comments about how I was a n00b, and that if I wasn't going to help, then to STFU. I then told my guildies over group chat what had happened while they were reading their quest, and they all said he did the same thing to them.

I have had many similar experiences with my characters, and I have found that I usually just avoid the 'birth' cities as much as I can. It kind of stinks, because I like helping people out, but why bother, if you get treated like crap.

HAHAHA...I love it!! Hit them with the dumb stick!!..lol Or as one comedian said "hand them their sign"(the I'm stupid sign)...lol Old school people will probably know what I am talking about...

I do seem to find alot of people on here that seem to have nothing better in life to do than make other's lives miserable...it's gotten to the point that I cringe waiting for a reply of SOW (which I try as much as possible not to ask). I ask politely and sometimes I am so shocked that their are still nice and decent people out there...My personal philosophy..I'll scratch your back if you scratch mine...Lets just remember to respect one another...and its no use in calling someone a NOOB or young...it seems to me that ignorance and stupidity come in all ages,sizes,colors..chars..lol no one is beyond the stupid stick..lol but hopefully we can just do onto others as we would have them do to us and maybe things could change? hopeful thinking? (sighs) I guess..but who knows...I can still hope cant I?

i just recently started playing everqest for ps2 but my friend has played pc ever quest for a long time and has many high lvl characters and when ever i was on one of his character he always told me to be respectful and i did that, sadly i do not think many ppl in ps2 everquest share these qualities

Totally agree.

It's head doin to say the least.

Now this is exactly wot i was tryin to explain to some one the other night. She got the end of the stick when I shouted a comment meant for guild chat.

Ppl that dish out abuse for no reason r not wanted in the game, they should learn a few better put downs than "stfu" or "like ur mum" !!!

The other thing that gets up my nose is ppl sending u group invites expecting u to help them. Without evev a "can u help?" or "where can I find such an such??"

Wots the point in playin if u gunna get some1 else to do all the work for u?!?

I totally agee w/ u all. It all goes back to the GM's. Who dont give a crap, about the community. I believe in originality in the game, hence foreth the names of a few Kikasses, Pusygalore, Wansomdik, and Pissoff. I mean come on people. If ur on msn chat or yahoo idc. Its the fact that, this is a community of ppl who see that as inappropriate. Slamin ppl who r tryin to help n sendin vulgare tells is gonna get u nowhere fast. And to all u people who couldn't think of a name or copyright to enfringe on. Try puttin an effort. To creating a char, that someone else would respect and want to be a good friend to.
What u say in private chat is up to u. DON'T broadcast it to everyone.
And to the GM's who take 3-4weeks to answer complaints thank you for keepin the community miserable!!!

No particular reason, I was just curious if it was an unusual name that my sound wierd, or if the guy was just making up stupid stuff. Like if it was the purple warriors who where skirts and worship rainbows, it's one thing, but I mean if it was something normal sounding it would be different. DISCLAIMER: not ripping on any person, individual, choice in... you get the point hopefully didn't want to start anything or pizz of anyone, was just curious.

actaully its the BOOMSTICK BRAWLERS. Me and my friend who started it are in ...rather...were in a band called Boomstick. Its a reference to the evil dead movies, which me and my friends all grew up with. I didnt think it was too gay.....oh well, everyone is entitled to their opinions. And no i dont like purple or pink unless its something a chic is wearing lol.

Half the people in this game would have to change their name/ lose their char in most other MMORPGs where you pay the same price but get Devs and GMs that actually do something other than become part of guilds to give certain 'privilaged' players info on upcoming changes so they can exploit them a week or even a month in advance. Just because I haven't been playing this game since it started doesn't mean my input would be worthless or newbish. And why can't they answer my help ticket on the day i submit it? I had one active for like 2 days and by that time i had already figured out what it was so I deleted it. TWO days, and why can i find the same player training in the same area 2-3 days in a row?? Yeah good thing at least 15 different players sent in those reports. Oh wait the GMs and devs are too busy training people at camps they want, with their Uber privilaged guilds. Sorry for ranting, but just there mere mention of a GM makes me want to scream.
