Its Winterveil! And you all know what this means...

Yep! Frantic scrambling to get all the achievements done so as to get the title!

I've already done a few of them and working on a few more. How about you all?

Going to be a pain in the *** unlocking those Ogri'la dailies just for that achievement, but I guess it's more gold for me too.

The others look alright.

I like in game events and will be trying to do as much as possible on my rogue and DK for winterviel for the acheivements.

(incoming rate downs)

with that said, i hate xmas. i hate living in our fundamentalist christian nation during the "holiday" weeks/months.
I will really enjoy winterviel in game, but i freaking hate xmas.

I have done a few... I also have made about 100G from stupid people, this was of course just while I was doing the initial quests this morning. I was online for a half hour and found the gingerbread cookies recipe and the snowball vendor. I bought about 10 stacks of snowballs for 24 copper per 5 (or whatever it costs, basically for free)and sold them for 5G a stack (all of them sold in the half hour period I was online). There were a number of other items I was able to sell for around 5G a stack and I was surprised when all of them sold. I love holiday events, they are an easy way to make money from foolish people.

Seriously though, Winterveil seems fun, I wonder how I will feed my flying machine the reindeer making thing.

I've made over 300g from lazy people. Yesterday I spent an hour farming small eggs in Westfall. I came away with 60 eggs to put up on the AH, after the ones I saved for myself. I sold them at 5g each.

Every one sold overnight.

I shoulda priced 'em at 10g each.

Green Winter Clothes - Made from mats in my bank... Sold for over 100G

I discovered even buying in runecloth I could make over 90G (the wool I can get in about 2 mins farming low level areas) woohoo!

Well, I've done some of them on my druid-the cooking one, Metzen, dancing snowman, Ogri'la and Bros before Ho's.

Not sure I'll ever get the winter hat if I don't get lucky on a world drop. And I don't do pvp, so I'll never get the final achievement(not that I care-so I guess having the hat for the one achievement matters not as well). Greench area was way camped this morning, so that one will wait for a few days. Made cookies for all of my characters(although that one seems pointless, no achievement and he gives you low level mats in return).

It is fun to see though. Personally I'm waiting for New Years. That's my birthday. :)

Done a few of them already. Did the Metzen one easily thanks to the quick respawn rate. Managed to get Greench this afternoon despite the spawn place being horribly over crowded. Grouped with 4 others and those of us with minions/pets put them on aggressive and one of them tagged him. Picked up some snowballs while there and did Scrooge when I returned to Ironforge. Some lovely person sent me some winter boots after I made them some red winter clothes so now I just need the hat to drop. I doubt I'll get all the achievements done but I'll give it a good go.

Oddly enough, not one person was farming eggs in Westfall and I managed to collect enough with my priest to allow him, my warlock and another character to do the gingerbread cookies quest. As for laziness, people were actually buying the milk for that quest at horribly inflated prices.
