I am really excited to Gather in 2.0. I was never really into crafting or farming in FFXI but FFXIV was fun. The way the mini game is set up now, 2.0's ARR system, seems a little less tedious and more rewarding. It is going to be a great alternative to grinding an item or level from time to time. I even look forward to grinding a gathering class for a time.
Just posting my excitement for 2.0 ^^

I agree but I'm not 100% sure if you can talk about here. I understand the excitement but I don't think the NDA has been lifted yet.
