I found that you can attain Ossified Matter at -5

Found at (5,12) down on the beach, and (5,11). Tons of aggro mobs nearby so use Stealth IV.

Note: Fingerprints of the Gods ability does not seem to activate very often. 2/30 on fishing attempts.

I'm mining and the skill hasn't activated once since I completed the quest to get it. Does it activate whilst on a leve or just in normal mining or both? anyone know?

Edit: I see the rate has been increased in 1.19a and will remain for all the gathering remaining at the node you are at.

Also I think to increase chance of it working I have it as the only set trait. There are three fishing spots that I know at Bald Knoll one on the beach as has been stated one on the cliffs to the north and one on the cliffs to the south. The one to the south is the only agro free fishing spot. The one north has toads as well as the Great Buffalo so you will need stealth for the toads and a quick chocobo for the buffalo. On another note I have heard that Near Nine Ivies is the other place to farm Occified.
