Hey all, I'm not sure if this has been discussed anywhere but can't seem to find anything on it.

Anyways, I was just wondering if there has been research done into what it takes to respawn gathering/harvesting points.

I know if you go on and do two more of the same type of gathering and then return to the first one it will have respawned for you to harvest, but are there other ways, such as waiting a certain amount of time, zoning in and out, doing some crafting, killing certain amount of mobs, etc?

If anyone has done any research into this or knows anything further, please share in this thread for us all to find out :)

Zoning in/out doesn't do it. Killing a few mobs doesn't seem to do it. Gathering from different types of nodes does if I'm not mistaken (ie. you can log from one, then go harvest at another then mine another and come back and the first one you logged will be available to log from again). There may be a time component but I think the purpose behind what SE did was in large part to prevent from having harvest bots camped at known spawn locations for when they cycle around.

Takes harvesting 2 points for the last one to respawn, so if you find yourself 3 harvesting nodes, u can do a circle.

Also they don't have to be the same type. So for example I was circling between two trees and one mining point tonight. 2 of any kind will do it.

Just want to confirm what other posters have been saying...

I found a nice spot last night with 2 mining spots and a tree in very close proximity.. thought it was Christmas!!!
