warsong gulch,is it like this nowadays?Follow

im only lvl 13.but i just did warsong gulch and it seemed like(im horde)90 percent of alliance ran around and eather were in groups with a healer,or had pocket healers

i mean,im a sub rogue.so i know im OP at that level but it kinda sucks when your fighting someone and in the middle of it all you see is absorbed cuz some priest just came by and started healing the person.was kinda funny i was the top horde at the end and i didnt even have poisons on my weapon(was to lazy to buy them, just wanted to queue up cuz im farmin bgs for the honor heirlooms plus the boa trinket)

unless arathi basin gives more honor.but meh,i perfer warsong gulch over arathi basin even though i seemed to have better pvp in arathi basin then warsong gulch

I played a bit of WSG on Sunday with my friend. First 5 matches were in 10-14, me as a (14) arms warrior and him as an (11) Disc priest. Gotta admit, I wish I was his toon more than my own. Disc priests are phenomenal at that level. My warrior was awful, as I had no way to close when I was slowed. Hunters... ugh... Still, we only did "ok"; 3 wins, 2 losses.

Second was us at level 15-16, me as a frost mage, him as a suvival hunter (survival gets Explosive Shot, right?). That was awesome. We both brought a ton of focus fire. Our toughest enemy was a holy paladin decked to the nines - would take a solid 15 seconds of attacking her to drain her health more than her holy lights healed for. Only disc priests we saw in that bracket were weaker - it's pretty fun to kill them in a matter of seconds.

As for disc priests themselves, their goal to go around doing healing or shielding as needed... so it's not really a pocket healer so much as "someone doing what they're supposed to do." What did you think their point was? Sit there and get stabbed to death?

Also... let me understand this... you're doing level 10-14 PvP for honor heirlooms? They cost like 2500+ honor each, and you get maybe 60 for a win. You'll be in your 50s before you can afford them - and that's only if you're winning!
#4REDACTED, Posted: May 23 2011 at 5:44 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) so even with double honor gain it would still take forever to get them? cuz thats kinda what i planned on doing(just running bgs everyday until i got enough)but if thats the case then i guess ill just do them whenever i feel like doing them and just keep farmin the jp for the jp heirlooms

i kinda originally planned on starting bgs when i could do eye of the storm anyway(i like that bg better then arathi basin and warsong gulch)but i figured with double honor gain and doing bgs everyday it wouldnt take that long to get the honor

plus you cant use wound poison until lvl 32 anyway which is one of the poisons sub uses in pvp from what ive read up on

You can farm honor for sure, but don't do it on a low level character. It would be equivalent to farming coppers from mobs to afford an epic flyer Smiley: tongue You can go MUCH faster at level 80+

Let me see if I got this right... This thread is to complain about healers in bg's because they make it to hard to kill someone else? Or is the problem you are trying to get at is the enemy is sticking together and not running around for you to kill?

Either way the answer is pretty simple. Stay with your team, work together, and kill the healer.

This sums up what grinding for heirlooms on a lvl 13 would be like.

even the last game i played i pvped solo to,maybe its just the way i like to pvp.i seem to be doing pretty good though since im topping every bg ive been in since i hit lvl 10(unless its because sub rogues are just Op at lower lvls)

eather way,i guess im gonna pvp less now anyway cuz the only reason why i was pvping alot was because i figured with double honor gain it wouldnt take that long to get pvp heirlooms.but apparently i was wrong
Yeah, look up the prices first. Also, if you have a high level guild and honored rep on one character, you can buy the heirloom helmet and cloak, and send it to your character. That costs like 1200 gold, I think. Maybe more for the helm.
#9REDACTED, Posted: May 24 2011 at 2:35 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) ya,as far as the guild heirlooms i have both the cloak and helmet.and looking up the prices of the honor heirlooms ive already did that

Lowbie hunter PvP is HILARIOUS.

Aimed shot crits can kill people, not as much now that I'm in the 30s bracket and heirlooms aren't as OP but it is still fun as heck.

Heirlooms are insanely OP in early brackets when people don't have gear in every slot and/or have no real ability to have decent gear in most slots.

Allies have always favored pack tactics while Horde tends to mostly be lone wolf or "hi, let's be partners for this BG" types.

With WSG being such a focused battle and relatively small field the Allie zerg/pack tactic has the edge.

The worse part I've come to notice about the lower level BGs is that half the Ally team seems to be hunters and head to toe heirloom gear is more norm then exception, the result being that even when Horde does win one the Allies inevitably top the kill chart at the end and often times even have more overall honor for their trouble.

If you're wondering why you're sub-default BTW, you can attribute it to lack of grammar, syntax and anything else resembling writing above the second grade level - these boards are particularly harsh on that failing.
