Hello,
I am looking for opinions for current and 4.0.6 comps for my 2 85s.
1) Rogue
2) Priest
I have tried rls, rld, rmsp, rferalsham, rmd in 3s never breaking 2k yet.
I am also open to new comps.
My priest is poorly geared so think for the new patch as disc.

2x2, either pairs well with a mage. 3x3, RMP. The CC power, peeling possibilities, and raw offense of the comp means it’s still a winner. I still prefer Holy over Discipline, but if the next patch goes live as it is on the PTR, the builds should be roughly equal.
RMP = always good for ever and ever.

For rogue, I'd try rogue/lock, rogue/mage, possibly even rogue/hunter (if you can find a hunter that isn't retarded); priest can pair with pretty much anything as disc.
For 3s, stay away from shamans in 4.0.6. With Bloodlust gone, they're pretty much lepers again.
Having played a hunter now for a while, I do think hunters can pair well with rogues if they can use their CC right; they'd probably have to be SV (though MM with Silencing Shot could work), but I think with a rogue's Imp Recuperate, a hunter setting a frost trap and the rogue/hunter kiting could be loads of fun.
I don't know anything about how monkey pet CC DRs, though.

I think hunter/rogue can work but you do need excellent communication and skills, especially the hunter as the hunter can't heal himself nor remove dots so a few dots will be lethal.

It's mostly about using LOS effectively, TBH. Also, that may be a comp where BM and a spirit beast could come in handy (though probably not).
A large hit in damage and CC for a not so great heal? Nothanks.
Either way, the hunter needs to be very good at surviving because 9/10 times the hunter is going to be focused.

Didn't put it in but was looking for 3s comps.
Just got 2.2k in 3s with rls. Found a brilliant shaman and a fairly good lock. Last game we beat a 2.4k rated wizard cleave so think we can push higher.
Stopped for the week and will be picking up the t2 weaps come weekly reset. Already sitting at 6.8k conquest points :)
Disc priest has been gearing up slowly... but will get more gear quickly as soon as the patch comes.
melee/caster/healer is looking like the go to combo so thinking rls or rmp come patch. Will probs stick with my current team unless something drastic happens.
Literally made the team earlier on today and got 2.2k within a few hours played :)

As someone who will never get any of these and therefore has no vested interest, this is stupid. I get the reasoning behind it, and even support that goal, but I'm surprised the issue they're trying to address wasn't anticipated.
Equally stupid that the rated armor is merely a cosmetic change from the non-rated. I hope next season they'll offer 3 tiers of gear: honor, conquest, and conquest with rating. Like, actually different, not just dyed.

I don't oppose the current progression, except for the t2 weapons.
Is it really hard to a) tell us beforehand when the weapons will be available b) make them unusable in heroic raids so that pvpers can get them without affecting pve?
I always said PvP shouldn't be about the gear difference but the skill, so everybody having the same gear is not a problem for me, but PvE'rs having a distinct advantage against a pure PvP'r is not something I like. Somebody plesae tell blizzard to either ban PvE heroic raid items from PvE or PvP t2 from PvE so we won't have this damn imbalance :)
That and, well, you get excited and then they spoil it at the last minute, wouldn't have been bad if they had told us from the start we wouldn't have the items until February 15th or whatever.
