Poor pet gets no XP in BGsFollow

Kind of funny, I was level 18...won a WSG, ding level 19. Queued for another, won it, dominated that BG (does it make a difference like HKs = XP or something? I had alot..). And leveled again from that BG. So in 2 BGs I went from 18-20. How can a pet keep up with that kind of XP?

I figure my best bet since I love to PVP while I level is just keep getting new pets like every 2-3 levels but that kinda sucks abandoning so many old ones. Or forced questing/grinding just to try and get my pet somewhat close to my level.

Yeah my point was just, if we get XP from BGs I dont see why pets dont, especially when its insane amounts of XP like a full level for a win. Then I went out and played more tonight, did a few quests and realized how insanely fast pets gain XP outside of BGs, so its kind of a non-issue..my bad.

Eh, it kind of is an issue, just not one that I'd find myself in, though maybe 60-80 I would (as I doubt I'd level via BGs any other time).

I have always found this curious as well. I think I remember a blue somewhere a while back (and I mean a long while) saying it was unintentional and on their list of things to look at some day, right around when they finish the dance studio probably.

I think pet exp has increased quite a bit for instances and killing stuff too. While I haven't leveled a pet in a long time I got quite a bit more exp running an instance with my 75 pet than I think I have before.

Too bad about the BGs but it really doesn't take much to ding a pet so not a significant loss.

As for it being on the "to do" list, eh, it only effects one class and in a minor way so unless one of the programmers is a hunter with a thing for leveling in BGs and basically sneaks the R&D in during working hours or does it on his own time, I don't foresee it making it's way up the list any time soon, or any time at all most likely.
