Hey, all. I recently came back from some time off, and now I'm finishing leveling my druid(71). I'm looking for some solid feral druid pvp videos post 4.0 to look at. I've found some videos on WM, but most are from the actual beta.

I'm really curious to see how Stampede looks against level 80 targets with resilience. When I do my charge/pounce/ravage/FB on NPCs while leveling, it's an easy kill. I'm just curious to see what it looks like at a higher level, with resilience added into the equation.

Do any of you guys/gals have experience with it in PvP? I'm trying to prepare for my transfer to Draka to play with Theo.

I haven't done feral PvP in a few seasons. All I remember from arenas is balancing burst, CC and self healing. With the CC being the more important factor.

PS procs are a good thing, you can let them fade but they are insanely useful. Don't bother with SR for PvP as white damage is low these days.

A rough guess on Ravage would be it isn't as cool as your leveling experiences. As resilience and no more ArP will likely stifle your physical burst quite a bit.

With the CC feral/rogue, my guess of the comp, can bring on different DRs locking someone down while killing there buddy should be easy enough.

Bleeds are huge damage if you can get some mastery to make them bring the pain these days.

As a side note haste is garbage for feral so avoid it or turn it into mastery.

Actually, ravage is hot for pvp.

Feral charge in stealth > Pounce > Ravage > Mangle > (Tiger's Fury for the buff and energy boost) > apply Rake then either 5pt Rip or 5pt Ferocious Bite depending on the armor level of your target. That is enormous damage in just a few seconds, almost nothing you will meet in BGs can survive it.

I would also reforge all crit and excess hit on your gear to mastery. In my mix of furious and relentless gear this left me with 43% crit, +45% bleed damage and 9k+ rip crits on the target dummy and 23k+ FBs.

As for gearing, i really recommend full pvp gear and even gemming and enchanting resilience to survive all the crazy burst people have these days. I have 1550 res on my ret which feels perfect for BGs.

People say feral is similarly powerful at 85 as it is on live too, so barring heavy nerfs i would say feral is a solid pvp spec for a while.

Thanks for the feedback, guys. I found someone on youtube that seems pretty decent at PvP, but he didn't take Rampage. Granted, I saw a person in the comments say that he was dumb for not taking it, but he said that he doesn't use ravage much in PvP.

I personally see myself using it like Artemis said. I drop stuff super fast while leveling, when I use it, so I could see it being pretty nasty in pvp. I should be 80 by the end of the week, and I'll find out whether I use it, or not.

Recently I've found kite-bleeding to be very effective in BGs. If you pounce to another target after your primary target uses their gap closer and you have your bleed(s) up, a lot of folks will get distracted and not run after you.

To clarify: Stun and bleed target A. Run away. Target A uses grip/charge/etc, you pounce to nearby target. Target A keeps bleeding while focusing a new target because they're lazy. ... . Profit.

The mastery bonus is goofy awesome. Also don't be a scrub like me and remember to re-gem your crit gems (which used to be arpen) if you have any.

Good luck Feyslahasss or however you pronounce it.

I've played my share of PVP through all of Wotlk. I didn't play too much Arena, or have that much of a high rating, but I can use my brain in BGs. I know how to win them BGs, what counts and what to do to win. Too bad it gets kind of old when you always need to solo the BGs to win.

But that's for another time and topic.

I *love* Feral PVP. I can beat every class equally, I don't really have any superior counters. I can beat healers with my current DoTs and stuns, plate wearers go down with DoTs. I've got Ferocious Bite for clothies. Also loving the change to Lifebloom. I still need to adjust for it on Resto, but it is so perfect for Feral it's not even funny.

Stampede with my gear(Shifthappens on Stormreaver EU) on players hits 5-7k on average, which is very nice for a free ability IMO. If you really want pvp videos, I could maybe hit up Fraps someday now when I go BGing, if ya want.

If you don't mind going in to a bg and recording, I'd appreciate it. It doesn't have to be amazing game play, I just want to see what experienced people do at 80, so I can start learning their tactics.

Funny that your name is shifthappens, mine is shiftzhappen on Fenris US. However, I'm thinking of a new name for the transfer to Draka.
