Decided to give the expansion a spin after all, and I decided to go with a healing spec on my Druid. Naturally, I figured I'd give some of the dungeons a whirl as well.

I've missed these frustrating 5-man PUG runs and the dialogue it provides.

Location: Auchindoun
Time: Way past bedtime
Status: Final boss down after 3rd wipe

Rogue: "u suck heal"
Rogue: "worst heal evr"
Me: "I told you the first two times you died that I can't heal through the fire damage, but you still decided to stand in it. I can't heal stupid."
Monk: "heal me ffs"
Me: "Oh, I did. In fact, I had to spam heals on just you, which is why everyone else died and we wiped."
Me: "If you don't purify your Stagger damage, you're squishy like a grape."
Monk: "i purified the dmg"
Me: "Then you're doing something wrong, because you took more than twice the damage of any other tank I've healed in here."
Rogue: "so bad"

...awkward pause...

Paladin: "ur dmg sucks druid"
Me: "Are you ******* kidding me?"

Smiley: facepalm

Unless you provide logs I'm going to assume your damage was even behind the tank. Shame on you!

"Okay, let's try one more time."
"Everyone ready?"
Start fight.
Drop.
Leave.

I spent over 90g on repairs going through MC to get my mount and the pretty helm for the anniversary event. I feel your pain.

I had a monk tank a couple of weeks ago who refused to throw barrels.

I am actually loving this expansion. For the first time ever I am regularly raiding. I'm only 5/7 normal Highmaul right now, but I've only been raiding for a week. I also love my garrison. Welcome back, Maz.

I like the expansion as well. I just wish the garrison was modeled based on your race, because my Night Elf Dudu seems out of place in a giant blue and white castle. And I wish the Alliance garrison location wasn't chosen by a moron tactician/architect.

I mean, look at it! Giant trees that basically hug the walls, and you've got hills and crap all around. Enemy archers and spell casters would have free line of sight into the heart of the base, and the trees would allow enemy melee forces to easily scale the walls. I'm sure I'm not the only one who saw this and went "Noooope. No. **** no." when the Alliance leaders were all "ZOMG, this area is perfect for a base!" At least cut down the **** trees around the base. Or are we trying to blend into the purple foliage with our blue and white castle?

Meanwhile, in Camp Horde, we're situated on a ******* mountain top overlooking a barren landscape. You'd need to be a snow ninja to sneak up on that place.

It's a common alliance belief that orcs and tauren are colorblind. I'm not sure where they got that idea.

LOL @Pold.

I agree so much about the architecture. I'm actually playing Alliance now because I simply cannot stand the orc architecture garrison. Give me my own little mini Brill and I'll be happy to be forsaken again.

I wonder though if, much like the farm, the garrison is just another iterative step. Maybe next expansion we get true housing that's customizable. If there is a next expansion. And I'm still alive then.

Meanwhile I do like my blue and white castle. :)
