Does anyone here still raid somewhat seriously?

My 10-man heroic guild just killed Heroic Siegecrafter Blackfuse. Second 10-man on the server to do it, one of the first 100 kills in the US for 10-man, and top 500 in the West for 10-man.

Damn, that's a big rush.

Nice job! I hope the Lootgods were smiling on you.

Don't know if my guild qualifies as 'somewhat seriously' Smiley: lol but we are 4/14 HC now. Iron Juggernaut should fall soon, too.

Nice! Iron Jugg was a toughie on our healers, I remember that. It's a lot of random damage flying out at the worst possible times.

Yeah we 3heal him because of that. Had him on 15% in one try so we were close. If we are successful Nazgrim is next, I guess. Don't think he is much harder than Juggernaut.

Nazgrim isn't bad, it's really more of a "can you not attack during Defensive Stance" check and a "know how to handle adds" check.

Just downed Sha HC and then Juggernaut HC for the first time. A very sweet conclusion for this ID. Sadly, no loot for me. But some useful pieces for a few guildies so overall our raid got stronger.

Now we are debating if we try to get Shamans or Nazgrim next. Since we played Shamans in nHC with 3 tanks we are familiar with the tactic.

Shaman 3-tanking is fairly easy, I'd say go for that first.

We are working on him right now, best attempt 20.5%. We are 11/14 HM.

He is a good fight in 25 man, simple mechanics but with a lot going on so it punishes tunneling. Add control, aoe placement, lots of movement. Though somewhat derivative of Maegara HM in ToT.

On the whole HM SOO is an alright raid,

Update - We downed him 25 man. 4 healers to make the enrage timer. That fight gets hairy at the end, dang. We are now the 3rd guild on server to get it. Us and another guild 25 man, 1 guild 10 man.

Grats on that! Paragons we found to be much easier than Siegecrafter, and I don't imagine it would be much different for you. That said, you're 25-man and we're 10, so who knows how that translates.
