I thought it might be fun to post our transmogs.

My shadow priest.

My frost mage.

My character's been inactive too long, but I think I had her transmogged into the Aldor set. I probably would have gone with Tirisfal, but I'm missing the chest piece.

I wish human male casters didn't have such terrible armory images.

When I first got my legendary cape, I of course had to make a set to match.

My hunter essentially, been inactive too long to link her profile with this bow.

My rogue was rocking t15 since it wasn't an ugly set.

I'm rocking the AQ40 Strikers garb on my hunter. Need to get the gloves from Vek'lor to complete the ensemble. For my bow I have mog'd it into Rhok'delar, and while it doesn't really match the colour scheme, it's more for the vintage look I guess.

Good old times when the WoW design team experimented with drugs and Skittles color schemes.

My Warrior is farming for the Onslaught gear. Goes well with her new weapon. Armory stance is ******* terrible, though. Who came up with this?

My Druid is rocking the overused Nordrassil gear, but I can't link to her, because she doesn't show up in the Armory. Smiley: confused

There was a time when Pandaren wielding a two-handed staff-type weapon would have their back half facing the viewer as if they were in mid-swing and spun around.

Though I just checked and it looks like they fixed that (finally).

Ret set is T2 Paladin set, because I am obvious.

My main set, I am not xmogged, I kind of like T16.

Why EVERY Paladin isn't running around with this set, I'll never understand. Lightbringer is the only other Paladin set that doesn't suck. I suppose T13 looks alright on some classes (notably Tauren). I hate the White Tiger set on anything but Dwarves. T15 should be a Shaman set.

/em totally didn't just look up all the Paladin sets since he last quit to see if the trend of them being the absolute worst sets continued.

Serious question: is there a single Monk in the game not running around in the Raiden set?

Smiley: disappointed

The shiny shoulders, the halo, the purple coloring, the lack of a kilt... makes it look terribad on Humans, and Human Paladins are the only Paladins that should exist. Draenei and Tauren models are abominations, and Blood Knights just need to go Nyan Cat more. That makes no sense... just like Blood Knights.

I said doesn't suck, not that it was awesome.

It's pretty much the only other Paladin set that looks like a Paladin set. If I'm a goddamn righteous Warrior of the Light, I should look like a goddamn righteous freaking Warrior of the Light.

The original Alliance PVP set is great without the helm (GOGO UTHER!)

If I had access to the Judgement set, it's what I'd be wearing. If I didn't, I'd scrounge up Lightbringer or the PVP set. I can't even think of other armor sets I'd want a Paladin in...

Maybe some of the Warrior/Priest sets, to be fair. But I don't actually know how Transmog works, so I wasn't going to assume that was possible. Smiley: lol

One of these days, I need to finish farming the purple judgment set for my paladin. I think I'm missing two pieces.

Yeah, Paladin sets are kind of weird.

I still think that T11 priest is an abomination though. I don't know why I have it saved in my bank. It looks neat, but makes no sense for a priest.

T4, T6, 10, 12, 13 are alright.

There is actually a paladin with full T5 transmog including weapon and shield that is fricking nice.

Our pvp sets are actually pretty solid. Season 11 is not really paladin~ish but still looks amazing.

How so?

I don't like it, to be clear, but it seems acceptable thematically. Robed man looking into a font of water on the pauldrons? Considering the prevalence of fonts in the Priest aesthetic (Wells, plus the importance of water fonts in the symbology for most represented religions), it seems solid?

Plus, it also sort of looks like he's scrying, and that seems more like a priestly art than a magic one in a WoW context. More meditative and prayer-like.

Though, again, I do think it's ugly as sin. Smiley: lol

It's passable without the helmet, I suppose. But I never would have seen that and thought "Oh, hey, Paladin!" if I didn't know better. I loathe T10. It looks like a Death Knight set, and there's nothing in any of the Paladin organizations that would use skull iconography. Plus, the color palettes are just so very wrong.

If you showed me a picture of T12, I would have guessed it was a Warlock set. Maybe a Mage.

I don't mind T13, but the helm makes it super hit-or-miss for me, depending on the race. I love the helm on the Tauren male, but I think it looks ridiculous on the Blood Elf Male. Because it's so big, the way it interacts with the spacing around the pauldrons really influences its look.

I still believe that Priests and Warriors have the best sets in the game.

Current tier feels like a paladin set. T10 is the only set I would flat out argue you on, you had been through the wringer and finally broke down the door to Icecrown Citadel. The dark tones with the shatters shoulders emitting flame instead of bright light. I was happy with that set, though my guild leader at the time who was a paladin hated it.

MoP gear as a whole has been fairly terrible in its designs.

I don't like using full tier sets in my transmogs. I enjoy mixing and matching gear until I get something that looks good and fairly unique. T6 priest, for example, is WAY overused. But those shoulders are on of my favorite pieces to use when building a transmog set. I've got about six or seven transmog sets I use and rotate through fairly regularly, actually.

Priest tier gear is ridiculously awesome.

Avatar (T5) gear + Staff of Immaculate Recovery = win.

This should be a Paladin set at some point. It needs to happen.

Mages have always had solid sets. At worst, they've been boring. At best, they've been understated and awesome.

Tirisfal Regalia, for instance. I ADORE this set. It's so clean and simple, yet so appropriately Mage-ish. Very, very few sets I've disliked (and those were because they felt wrong, not because I disliked the set itself, as with the Ghost Rider one).

The Kirin Tor set, with pants, is probably one of my favorites in the game (if not my #1).

T10/11 felt too Warlock-y. T15 is meh. I like T16 though.

T13 on a gnome is 100% perfect.

[EDIT]

I swear to god, this is going to be the thread that makes me resub. Smiley: mad

It's good for a holy or disc priest. If I want to make a mog for my shadow priest, often times I get told I look like a warlock. A shadow priest should look a little creepy and dark I think.

Is it possible to transmog across classes? Because I feel like, if there's a purple version of the Mage helm with the feather, it could work really well integrated into a shadow priest set.

On another note, Icy Veins has a transmog page for each class. It shows Tier and Season but if you scroll down to the bottom of the page it has off sets and dungeon sets as well.
