Ah! I had a nice, quiet weekend with plenty of Tyger and a good dose of WoW. Here's hoping the the RNG treated you all well.

WOW: DMF distracted me. Queue times for LFR were running higher than usual and I had an urge to see a character do more than hope slightly shinier gear would drop. I pushed my old Hunter through eight levels of Northrend and went through some of the quest chains that I usually skip in the name of efficiency.

RL: Had a nice time taking care of a very tired Tyger. Since I'm writing children's books on the side these days, my editor was able to get one of the artists to do a piece for us. She likes wine, so I searched out a bottle of Schwarzriesling for her. Later in the weekend she got to try German Schwarzbier. Alas, things were just too busy and we had to put pizza off until another day. Good times.

Now, let's hear some stories!

RL:

Went out Friday night with a friend who just got broken up with by his now ex-GF. Althought I would have liked a quiet weekend without any booze he needed a night out. Was a pretty fun evening actually. Both of us and a third friend who joined a bit later got hammered and hit the dance floor. I don't want to imagine how we looked though. Smiley: lol
Saturday I spent in hibernation. Had a quick round of Diablo 3 HC with a friend in the evening. Despite the ongoing lag problems D3 is currently facing we managed not to die.
Sunday I had lunch with my fathers side of my family and after that it was close to raiding time.

WoW:

I prepared and then finished this. During the raid we cleared up to and including Nazgrim so we have all of Tuesdays raid evening for progression on Malkorok and hopefully Spoils. And I got two new shinies to play with. Thanks to the drastic itemlevel jumps between t15 and t16 I then oneshotted the remaining bosses of the Brawlers Guild for the deck achievement.
Maybe I'll try Hexos in the near future. But somehow I'm rather hesitant about that one.

RL - Hockey tonight. We started the season last week and lost out goalie for a couple games. He sprained his knees in the first period. Game time is past my usual bed time, so I just hope I have some energy for the game. And, it'll probably eff up my sleep cycle all weekend. I'd try to sleep in, but the dog really doesn't go for that and the wife has early a.m. plans. Oh well. Not too much else going on this weekend, so hopefully, I'll have decent WoW time.

WoW - I've been getting back into pet battles a bit lately, so I'll work on farming a few rares that I still need. Also, maybe hit trainers to try for stones. Try the damn DMF guy again...

41 Pally - get a couple levels. Work on JC.
41 Druid - get a couple levels. Work on Inscription.
65 Priest - Push for Northrend.
85 DK - hit Pandaland. It's been a while since I've been--I've been playing lowbies for months--so, it should be a fun chance of pace.

I think I've found a guild that I want to join...so, I'll check on that, too.

RL - Won the hockey game. Sleep schedule was predictably disrupted for the weekend. Ended up getting a fair amount of little things done around the house. Small fix-its, yard work, cleaning, you know...all the fun stuff. A friend inviited us over last minute for Canadian Thanksgiving. So, had a good time Sunday evening with turkey and other yummies.

WoW
41 Pally up to 43. No work on JC.
41 Druid up to 43. No work on inscription.
65 Priest up to 66. Didn't put much effort into the priest this weekend.
85 DK up to 87.5. Did a little bit of Pandaria, but really got distracted with pets this weekend, so a lot of the DK's xp came from pet battles, lol. Finally managed to Porcupette, though, so...Woot! No luck on DMF pet though.

I joined a guild on Friday. It's a social, leveling guild. Really the first time since Vanilla/early TBC I've been in that sort of guild. It's not very active, though, so at this point, I'm really only getting guild perks out of it. Was kind of hoping for a little bit of, you know, social activity from a social guild...I guess I'll see how it works out...

Hope everyone had a great weekend.

Gaming - still not decided on what if anything to play... logged in and did 1 quest, then logged out.

RL - uneventful to say the least. Friday was American Horror Story - Asylum ( I give it a meh out of 5), Saturday was client meeting and sleeping in and more AHS-A. Sunday was cleaning, a little halloween decorations, more shopping and The Walking Dead.

I apparently watch too much tv.

Weekday - continue working on business and halloween decorations.
