That's right! Hogger and I downed Ahune. Who knew Hogger was a DK?

One of the things about playing on Chinese servers, one sees some odd names from time to time. What are some of the more amusing names you've run into over the years?

Sometimes I'm just left wondering. lol

The truly terrible names are the thing I miss most about creating my own parties. Specifically, the ability to not send them an invite.

Best name I've seen was "Dwarfpriest".

Not a special name in itself, but this was on a RP server and the guy was playing an Orc Shaman. Apparently, his story was that he used to be a Dwarf Priest, but died and was resurrected as an undead Orc Shaman.

I don't even...

When the worg's hit the world there were the usual bad werewolf names, but one stuck out as truly awesome to me.

Volksworgen

To that man (or woman) I tip my hat.

Bad werewolf names? But ... Zevon is a perfectly reasonable name for a worgen! (Some of you younger folk may have to play the song "Werewolves of London".)

Xxbadwulfxx says hello.

Really those have been my least favorite over the years. Not only did someone want to choose a horrible name, but it's already taken and they wanted it badly enough (or simply lacked the creativity to come up with something else) to add little 'x's around it.

Smiley: disappointed

I named the worgen I rolled "Rolandhedles." Yeah, I kind of went down the block, across the street, and back around the block again for that reference.

Anyway, too many bad names and I refuse to recall them, so I'll turn this around instead and give you a great name I saw - Unstablemind (an alliance druid). He was not in the guild "It Hurts When I PeeVeePee" though.

Sick of seeing people refer to the class as "Rouges", I finally made my own rogue (which I am actually enjoying, after having passionately hated it the 1st time I tried) and called him "Alevres". It's probably too multilingual for most people to get, I know... but it's about as close to a clever name as I'm ever going to get.

Perhaps my biggest in-game regret is naming one of my first alts Azgofer. It was supposed to just be a bank alt, and I did a dumb version of gopher with Az (which I always start my toon names with). Regretted it quite quickly, but never wanted to pay the money to rename her. It wasn't really worth it, considering how little I played her. I sometimes wonder how many people with awful toon names have the same regret.

Emerald Dream used to be pretty good about not having too many really terrible names, but it seems Blizzard is a bit more lax nowadays. You used to be able to hold an RP server to a higher standard, but there's a lot of riffraff around these days.
