Which do you prefer, WoW before Mists of Pandaria or WoW after Mists of Pandaria? Why?
I'm torn on that one.
I preferred my Druid and Shaman before the revamp, but the revamp made my Warlock more awesome.

I prefer overall play in MoP. I am happy to skip grinding head and shoulder enchants. I'm glad that we have scenarios. MoP gave us something to do with pets. Is MoP perfect? Of course not, but I like the general direction of MoP's changes. Now, about clam stacking ...
I like MoP. While the game is kind of losing steam for me, I enjoy MoP much more than I expected (certainly more than Cata). There's a lot to do, even if a lot of it remains repetitive (dailies...), but as someone who spent months grinding Evil Bat Eyes back in vanilla for an epic necklace on my mage, and has The Insane title on my druid, repetition is not necessarily a terrible thing 
I think, if anything, I just don't have the time to spend on MMOs like I used to. So WoW has gotten better, but I have other things occupying my time.

Like Mazra, I am of two minds.
I like the game itself more now than ever. As Locke says, there's a lot to do. It really is that simple. I resubbed in, I think, January? And I have not set foot in a battleground or raid yet. Once upon a time, it seemed that raiding and PVP were all there was to do. Now I don't even have time for them because I'm too busy messing around with the newer and "lighter" additions to the game. Between healing the occasional heroic, pet collecting, pet battling, working on my farm, leveling alts, cooking, and doing those dailies that I actually like (lord knows there are plenty to choose from), I still don't have enough play time to do all the things that interest me. I do enjoy doing battlegrounds and subbing into the occasional raid to hang out with my guild, and will get to those things when I (inevitably) get bored with what I'm doing now, but it's awfully nice to have other options too. I get the sense that I will not end up bored before the next expansion.
OTOH, late BC/early Wrath will always be the golden age of WoW for me. Simply from a social point of view, with my guild, my family, playing with people I just really enjoyed. And in a broader sense, I miss the days before CRZ when your server was a community that you actually knew and liked. When people would show up (even if it was the same 12 people who showed up every time :)) when the Crossroads was under attack, or we'd just have a blast going back and forth between Southshore and Tarren Mill. When you knew other guilds and other players just from "around," and you could get massive groups of people together for things like For the Horde or world bosses.
That was a high point that I don't think I'll ever see again. In any game, really - I suspect the MMO options have become too numerous and diversified for anything to get the kind of numbers WoW has seen, ever again. And while WoW has a long way to go before the people who insist it's "dying" are right, it's also certainly seen, and passed, its peak in that regard.

Hard to say for me. I think they have made a lot of great improvements and did a really great job with Mists but so many of my friends have quit or jumped servers (mine is horribly weak Horde side now) that looking back to BC and LK it seemed better in many ways. I think Mists is moving in the right direction from the bad mistakes made in Cata but it was too little too late for some. If my old group of friends from BC or even LK were all still here on my server and playing, I probably would be having a great time with Mists instead of just a good time.
My boyfriend quit wow permanently last month with the deletion of all of his characters. He had quit early on in Cata because of the linear questing and some glitches he kept running into but had thought Mists looked interesting enough to try to get back into it. He ran into some glitched phasing though and just got frustrated with the issues (both in Mists content and some old Cata glitches that were never well fixed) and decided the game just wasn't fun anymore. I kind of think that if they went the Mists direction instead of the Cata changes, he might be still playing. I do agree with him that the linear questing is a bit annoying at times and the extreme hand-holding with questing and the easy-mode leveling are a bit of a turn off to those of us who actually enjoyed having to actually read the quests and travel around the world to do some of them. It just made the world feel a bit bigger and more epic.

As others have said the options of what to do ingame have never before been so numerous. I especially like how there is now hard content, aside from heroic raiding and high end PvP. Challenge Modes and the Brawler Guild are great additions to the game. If they design dailies from now on more like the 5.1 hub they should be fine in that area too. The 5.2 dailies were a small step back but I think they are aware of that.
If they keep the concept of the farm I sure hope they smooth the process out a bit. I quit doing it about 3 months ago because it is so mind numbingly dull in addition to being quite tedious.
I can't comment on PvP because I only dabble in it occasionally but raiding is fantastic this expansion. Most of the fights are interesting so far. Much like t11. But they should give us more leveling dungeons and more dungeons at levelcap the next time around.

It's so hard to answer these questions. If, in one sitting, I could see all the changes it would be easier to answer. However, because the game has changed as I've grown and changed my tastes, it's hard to say.
Being that I had more time back in the BC and Wrath years, I enjoyed the grind of actually obtaining 'epic' items through factions, PvP, and coordinated raids or instances. The multi-hour AV battles were probably the most fun I've had in any BG.But, as i got older, I lost the time to sit in one BG for hours at a time or invest in too many multiple grinds or work around the schedule of 9 other people.
So in one sense I love the casual options available in MoP with pet battles, LFR, timed or quicker BG's. On the other hand, I miss the coordinated pulls required in instances, epic battles in the field of strife, and as someone pointed out the server based community due to the LFR option where your attitude or reputation doesn't matter, at all.
Furthermore, the inflation of numbers is a bit of a turnoff. I know it's like that with every expansion, but everything has a breaking point.

I started WoW in May 07, just a few months into BC. I have fond memories of walking/riding in Outland 
and since the whole game was new to me, it seemed awesome. Was easier somehow, more accessible than FFXI. Made new friends, reunited with old friends from FFXI, had a blast for a year and a half. LK came out, and while I was disconcerted at having to 'start over' with gear, with new reps, with having to walk/ride around new areas again. Cata arrived and I was...burned out. I disliked the areas, even the questing was a painful chore, dungeons didn't flow, if that makes any sense. So I quit for Rift and played it for almost a year, then came back to WoW because Rift was essentially the same game, just prettier.
MoP was more fun. Pet battles still hold my interest. The rep grinds...not so much. Friends started disappearing, guilds started dying, and I log in for an hour or 2, where I once logged in for entire evenings. Hell, I don't even have goals for the weekend thread anymore. :(
Right now, I'm in the beta for another mmo which will be released this summer. It may be a return of sorts, and may be my last mmo.
I was reading IDrownFish's thread about upcoming expansion speculations. It seemed interesting. Sounds like fun. It sounds like more of the same replays.
But I'm tired.
This was depressing. Sorry lol.
