Hi all!

I don't know if anyone will remember me, but I played and posted here a while back.

I've recently gotten back into WoW and just got to 90 with my old healer. Lots of new things to get used to, but I like it. The graphics in the Panda area are amazing! One thing I like a little too much is the new companion pet collecting system. I think I've spent more time on that than actually playing WoW. The rate of gold income makes me want to tell uphill-in-the-snow stories.

Anyway - /wave to everyone who's been here a few years and might recall an old face :D

See you all around.

Beware the dark side of pet battle addiction. I can't remember the last time I actually played my priest as, you know, a priest, rather than just a pet tamer. The other day I fell off my mount (don't judge, my bag button and my mount button are really close together) and I couldn't even remember my clique binding for levitate.

Welcome back!

I kind of remember the name. :)

Yeah, pet battles can be kind of addicting. I go through spurts on it, with mad collecting/leveling for a while and then I just move on to focus on other things. Right now I've been focusing a lot on getting alts through LFR as well as the guild raiding on my main. There's just never enough time for everything I want to do!

Of course I remember you Lacey. I see you are still spelling your name wrong . . .

Has it really been that long since you've posted?

Hey guys :) Grats on all the account promotions. Yeah, it's been a few years. My last post was in Jan 2011 and I stopped playing regularly in summer of 2010. I've missed it though. And it's nice to meet you Logros :)

The LFR system is throwing me for a loop. Where are all the strategy discussions, the buff checks, the healing assignments? Last time I checked, a pug group was considered good when it could handle the trash with any semblance of order. And no loot rolls. I suppose it's good to avoid drama and all, but it feels a bit slam-bam-thank-you-ma'am, you know?

But I tell you what, I love love Love LOVE the transmog feature. I may be a jeans and tshirt kind of girl in real life, but all my toons have bankfuls of pretty dresses. Now I get to color-coordinate to my frilly little heart's content. I also love the account-wide companions and mounts. Any word on whether they're planning to do that with BoA gear? And what was the point of putting people from other realms into each others' worlds?

Also, which came first, Diablo III or WoW's new talent system? It makes sense, seeing as everyone maxxed out the ability buff talents and let the flavor-ish utility spells languish. I like the new way.

And finally (finally) - SALTY!!

P.S. Yeah. . .my name. I'm thinking of switching to Laesa. It's closer to my given name, and even thought it's still spelled funny, at least no one has preconceived notions of what it should be :P

Welcome back Laecy.
I remember you from when you were a wee Scholar, hehe.

I am playing on and off, never letting my subscription lapse (waste of money, I know)

I get bursts of interest, play hard for a week or 2, then get distracted by a new shiny. Lately, it's been:
- Tomb Raider
- Bioshock infinite
- Legend of Grimrock
- DMC : Devil May Cry
- One Must Fall (reinstalled it and been playing it on DOSBOX) Being freeware now, I recommend EVERYONE get it and play it.
- Master of Orion 1
- Darksiders II

In between, I work on Shado Pan, Klaxxi, Golden Lotus, etc... To get them to revered. I hate not having +100% rep on my alts.

Unfortunately, I'm terrible at names, but yours does seem vaguely familiar. I blame the booze.

This danieldakkak guy, however... pretty sure I've never heard of him. Must be a spammer. Smiley: disappointed

Diablo III came first.

It was released Mid-Cata, MoP's revamped Talent System came a bit later.

And I happen to agree, I find a lot less fuss and annoyances when re-speccing my characters these days. It is SO much easier. Just swap 1 or 2 talents and you're good to go. No more clicking and praying you don't mis-click something trying to remember where you put all 70-some points....

:) Yeah Poldaren, I have fond memories as well. Didn't you have a short-haired mage in a purple dress as your avatar back then?

And speaking of avatars, Mazra, you got me hooked on Scandanavia and the World. Which subsequently lead me to view a certain YouTube video of a German Sparkle Party. Among other things. I blame you, you and your booze. In fact, you're the one who linked to that Look At My Horse loop. If I had to name my top five weirdest things on the internet, at least three can be traced back to you. Sadly, the top spot was taken recently by a series of pictures of dogs wearing pantyhose, and as far as I know, you're not responsible for that one.

And I've memorized daniel's "clue" sig. I practice saying it occasionally so that one day, when the situation presents itself, I will be able to deliver that line with all the victorious aplomb it deserves.

Well, I cannot agree with you here. Not at all. Maz most certainly has a higher rate of weird than 60%. The man is untouchable. He's the Tiger Woods of weird.

Believe me, I know about these things. I come from a long line of weirdos.

Maybe. I've been using this one for so long I barely remember any of the previous ones.
