Every so often, when there's not much going on here, I like to go to the ZAM Network tab and scroll through all the other titles and read their general forums. A few days ago I realized the list of games on the network has shrunk.. what happened? I know some may have died out or gone offline, or whatever, but the list still feels substantially shorter. It feels like there's current titles missing also, most notably Rift.

I couldn't find too much on the ZAM main page, but then again I didn't scroll too far back either.

Did I miss something somewhere?

Many of the forums petered out.

Kinda what you said. There are some old games that died out, that's surely part of it. Basically every newer title has a lot of information and activity on their own official forums these days, that's certainly a factor. The MMO market is more fragmented and it's hard to get a critical mass of people playing any particular MMO to support a non-official board for more than a couple of months. Hey we supported half a thread devoted to TERA in the general gaming forum for a couple of weeks. Many of us older regulars (am I part of that group yet? Smiley: glare) here are getting, well... older. We don't play as much, and don't have the free time to create content (think guides and such) like we used to. There's other reasons, and I'm sure we can come up with several more, but that's the jist of it from where I'm sitting.

Now I have to go, it's past my bedtime... Smiley: frown

As far as this forum is concerned, I kind of blame...Zam itself. They have Wowhead now.

It's there, just weirdly not on the drop down.

Good to know, I wasn't really looking for the RIFT forums, I just used it as an example because I know it's still being played and current, where as some of the other games that may have become unlisted might due to being dead/offline. Thanks anyways though.

Basically I enjoy reading general forums for other games and see what others think of their respective games and noticed the list had shrunk significantly.
