Things seem slow and threads a bit too serious, so here's a general discussion topic. If you had to live in one culture and zone of the world of Warcraft, which one would you pick and why? It seems like a sort of poll friendly question, but it would involve far too many fields. We'll do this the old fashioned, narrative way!

As extra incentive, I'm going to weigh in with my opinions later. Somebody else kick this thing off! Smiley: laugh

I think with all zones available to me and all life that exists in them... Scholazar Basin.

I like the lushnes of the place, and besides that then I could get a dog that walked on his hind legs as a pet, errr, friend.

Either Panda land, or dwarf land (even tho I play horde). Booze all around? I'm in!

Probably Red Ridge. Well, if there were no orcs invading. I love the lakeside feel of Lakeshire, and that it's far away from Stormwind but still close enough to take a flight back if I ever needed to do so. Other than that, Eversong Woods, because they're pretty Smiley: drool

Starter zone of either Blood Elves or Night Elves. For rather obvious reasons. Smiley: blush

Not sure why, but I read that to the tune of the Green Acres theme.

Jade Forest would be #1 on my list. Nagrand would be nice if I had access to a flying mount.

I just adore a mage tower view.

Pre-Cata destruction, the area around Thunderbluff was nice. The Tauren life is the one I choose.

Somewhere with a beach, Westfall maybe?

Darkshore, someplace where the cataclysm didn't make it all screwy.

As for me, I'm ready to be a goblin on the beach in Bogpaddle! Explosives, beach parties, babes and booze! Ka-ching!

I've wanted a house in Darkshire since I first saw the zone. Mor'Ladim and Stitches can come for dinner. Sara Ladimore can come too if she brings a side dish, but not that cranky old man who made Stitches, or that weird lady with the mirror. A girl has standards.

If we could get player housing anywhere, I'd either do it there, or in Caer Darrow, where I could make a quick jaunt over the river daily to play with poor Pamela.

If we're talking about where I'd live if it was actually me somehow transplanted into Azeroth though, I'd pick someplace less depressing. Probably somewhere in Pandaria because they're easy-going and have lots of booze. Stormwind is nice; it would be a shame if they figured out I'm Horde and killed me, but since I'm human IRL I bet I could pull it off.

One of the floating islands on Nagrand. I think some even have a waterfall off of them.
Waterfront property!
