Huge necro, but since this thread is something akin to the Weekend Summaries I figured better put it in here than create a new one.

Had an amazing Wednesday (WoW-wise). First I got the three missing mobs for Glorious. Had not been farming this in earnest for a long time. But nevertheless it felt good crossing this one of the list.
Then the right half of Bindings of the Windseeker dropped for my Warrior. That was nice. Been killing these two bosses in Molten Core for what felt like an eternity (actually not even two years) and now all I'm missing is the left half. Sulfuras is already done and now I got one less boss to kill each ID.

And I finally got the second and last step of this sucker. Never before has a single achievement caused me so much frustration. Although the Minesweeper one came close. But this one takes the cake. Single most annoying achievement I have ever done in over 2,5 years since I started playing WoW again. The seconds before I turned the quest in and was wondering if it would award it were quite tense. Last time I tried it I double-checked my Combat Log and had zero entries in it, which means zero damage taken, and did not get the achievement. May be that I ranted in some thread on this board then. I was pretty pissed.

And now, onward to new adventures!

OK I'll post in it. Got frustrated with ****** LFR groups on my DK, so I logged into my 85 Mage. Queued for a dungeon, and topped the DPS chart over some 87's. I'll be sad to see my gear go. Goo dto know Fire hasn't changed much. In fact, there are less buttons to hit at 85 now than before the expansion, since I don't have to pop FFO anymore (though FFO was kind of cool).

I see a lot of Frost Mages in dungeons at 90, and maybe I'll try it out, but I always did love Fire. The bigges issue for me is that I've been leveling a 'Lock, and since Affliction is basically useless until probably the 80's or so, I've been running Destruction. So now I have two fire Mages, just one has a pet. Arcane never really was my bag. I ran it in Dragon Soul because of the buff, but man it just was not as much fun as Pyroblasting things in the face.

I also managed to snatch a Minfernal. Grey quality but who cares? Sadly the Qiraji Guardling seems rather rare and Silithus is extremely populated since approximately 00:01 this morning. Smiley: oyvey

Hydross was nice to me too. Now I only miss the one from Al'ar for the second edition of Raiding with Leashes. Since I'm farming Kael for the mount that's not a big inconvenience.

Fair warning, if you get into treating it like Pokemon you will be surprised on how quickly time flies. Smiley: lol

Congrats TherealLogros! I personally wish Lady Vashj would drop her pet. Smiley: mad

Grats on your Minfernal. :) I managed to snag Zookeeper just after midnight, but I'm still missing 2 RWLII pets.

When I get my title on these forums I want it to be something akin to The Threadnecro.

Yesterday won the mount from Horridon. Then the guildie who won the pet gave it to me since he doesn't collect pets. Yep, both dropped during the same kill and I ended up owning them. That was insanely lucky and also insanely nice from said guildmate of mine.
And today I finally got the last two stones for the legendary quest. The ranged DPS challenge took some tries but in attempt 10 or so I bested Wrathion and am now proudly sporting a 608 itemlevel cloak.

So, how are you guys doing? Any goals you accomplished which came too late for the weekend summary? ;)

Wait, what? The Red Necro? You want to be the Red Skull?

Things have been quiet. I've been capped on VP on one account and haven't wanted to burn out by trying to do both at once. Instead, I've gone back to trying to figure out pet battles. Dang, those early pet levels seem to build up slowly! Any advice from you pet battle masters?

Oh, the big accomplishment today was that the Haywire Construct dropped the mini pet. Yay!

edit: wrong toon. fixed.

I'll take any name with Skull, Death or Necro in it. Smiley: lol

Sadly the first battle pet or team thereof you level to 25 will be rather slow and tedious. But as soon as you have one or two 25 pets you can use them to powerlevel your other pets pretty fast. You just have to take that first hurdle.

Edit: typo
