I miss it. Smiley: frown

It let me pretend I was a middle-aged, female Alaskan native who played 7 hours a day, and primarily focused on PVP content, but never got pumped from it.

Oh, and despite wanting to help my fellow players, and happily dying for the good of the group, I also had a desperate need to murder their characters.

The problem with penguins is that Northrend cooking somehow managed to ignore them. I think there needs to be an additional branch of Pandaren cooking to be the equivalent of Guangdong's tendency to cook anything.

I'd eat a Penguin, or at least try it.

Jesus Christ, almost had a heart attack here. My ZAM bookmark leads to the WoW General forum and the thread's title made me think the BDT had been locked.

Apparently excerpted from Lonely Planet:

Quote:
Dr. Phillip G Law, leader of the Australian National Antarctic Research Expedition from 1949 to 1966 says: 'I have tasted a variety of meats from Antarctic species - seals, penguins, skuas. There is one basic rule of greatest importance when preparing them: get rid of every last remnant of blubber, otherwise the food will have an abominable fishy taste.' ... 'Because of the power pectoral muscles developed for swimming, the meatiest part of the penguin is its breast,' says Law. ' The dense muscle meat resembles ox heart. My favourite recipe is to thinly slice the breast and fry it with a coating of egg and bread crumbs in the fashion of a wiener schnitzel.'

OK, I've provided the reference to breasts, who has the bear beer?

I agree, so much opportunity here. They created a mini-game full of various critters you go around killing, but for some inexplicable reason you can't throw them into a pot afterwards. Albeit that'd be rather disturbing with some of them, and I can't imagine the clockwork gnome tastes very good. I'd eat the turtle though, crab looks tasty, and why not brew a sporebat lager?

There, now you have your beer. Smiley: nod

Someone promised me pie. Is this the place to get it?

And, I'm with you Mazra...my first thought when I saw the thread title was that the Bored Druid thread got nuked.
