OK, Monday morning over here. Since last week's summary got bumped, I'd better get this week's summary started.

WOW: I just barely made it, but I did manage to grind the mount for one account. I also got back to the honor/VP grind on my Alliance toons and a set of good dungeon runs shot my Horde hunter from 15 to 22. Yay!

RL: Friday's negotiations went well. Pink impressed everyone and her requirements were almost purely symbolic. It appears I'm going to be getting married next year.

Weekday musings: The new semester kicks off today, so I'm not going to get much done. I'll have time for dailies but not much serious progress.

Since I seem to have used up several continents worth of good luck, here's hoping the the RNG at least took it out on your enemies more than it did on you!

Smiley: lol In a vain attempt to reduce confusion, here's what he meant to post.

I was feeling kind of "meh" this weekend, was not into doing much for dailies/rep/valor, even though I should. So for a change of pace I ran The Eye to see if the mount would drop, but no luck.
While I was in that mode, I thought I'd give olde Kil'jaeden a try, and not to brag or anything, being this being only the second time I ever ran that raid, but let's just say my hunter is VERY HAPPY.

The confusion, I has it too... Smiley: frown

I got out of the jade forest and got to chasing vermin out of farms and what not; marmots don't like lightning shield btw. Of course I was also promptly side-tracked by all the new pets, and had to go out of my way to catch a bunch of them. The 4 year old on my lap demanding I put the friendly turtle in a box was probably part of that.

Mom also came to town for the day, so in exchange to listening to her talk about all the family drama I got a free lunch. Red Robin isn't exactly the type of place you get excited about, but the price was right at least.

RL - stayed home and WoW/cocktail with my wife friday, saturday was wardrobe shopping and baby shower shopping. Have most of the decorations purchased, just have to drive an hour to get the gift tonight (toys r us website sucks). Sunday was clean/cook/friend over, mostly just relaxed and caught up on couch and WoW time.

WoW - hit exalted with August Celestials and made my first Royal Satchel. Got my paladin to 81 and my priest to 36, leveled the guild to level 2 and got shieldwall and flying serpeant to almost revered. Failed on my valor quest, sitting at about 770 right now so will probably not cap for the week.

Weekday plans - will hit revered with shieldwall and flying serpeant, will valor valor valor as I can, try to get my priest to 40's and see if my wife wants to group with my pally.

Effing weekend summaries, how do they work? Smiley: lol

Let's see: RL was fun on Friday! Got together with 4 other people and watched Moonrise Kingdom (my young cousin plays an extremely minor role in it). Had a good time with them, and hopefully we'll all do more in the future Smiley: smile Nothing else happened; I was a hermit for most of the weekend. A drunk, drunk hermit Smiley: tongue

Oh, I managed to fix my (piano) keyboard last night, so I started playing on that a little. I can do London Bridge Is Falling Down. You know you're jealous Smiley: wink

WoW: Nada. Didn't touch it. Probably won't until 5.2!

ME: Finished by Insanity ME1 run. It was simple by the end; once you can afford Spectre gear and have the 80% Immunity damage reduction, you can actually do some damage and NOTHING hurts you. Started ME2 (also on Insanity), this time as a Sentinel. Already liking it more than ME1; the fights can be challenging, and I've died several times by taking a risk and paying for it (usually by getting out of cover, getting flanked, and dying within three seconds). Even with Sentinel's awesome Tech Armor, in real terms it just means that I can survive for one second longer than I would on any other class! Most fights consist of me hiding in cover waiting for power cooldowns to reset, then lobbing Warp or Overload. Gets tricky when you need to move or have time limits; been a lot of fun.

My primary goal will be to construct an enderman farm...oh, wait...wrong game.

WoW - Get my 72 DK up to 75. Maybe look for a casual guild to join. I started this toon primarily to hunt for pets on a low pop server. But, I've been enjoying playing and I've really committed more time and effort than was necessary for just a pet hunting toon. So, I think maybe I'll look for a guild. I don't want to make any major commitment, since the toon will never be a main, and will take a back seat to the toons on my main server. But, it'd be kind of cool to get guild perks and maybe socialize a little on the server. I don't know, we'll see.

I'm down to under 30 rares to nab from pet battles. A lot of those are in Pandaria. So, I think I'll combine working on leveling 75 pets to level 25, and power leveling lowbies, with the hunting. I'm at around 45ish level 25 pets. So, maybe I'll shoot for adding 10-15 more level 25s.

RL - Hopefully some house hunting. Hockey Sunday night. Otherwise, I expect a pretty mellow weekend.

WoW - Mostly fail. I just wasn't feeling it this weekend. My main WoW activity was getting my DK's cooking up to 375 and into the Northrend recipes. Took a little fishing, but relatively easy. Didn't level much. I tried to start one LFD, but dropped group because a pushy punk was running his mouth. We didn't even make it past the third pull before I'd had enough of his attitude. Not worth my time to have a crappy run with an a$$hole. There's just no need for the BS in a leveling dungeon.

Pets - fail. I didn't capture a single pet and didn't raise any levels.

RL - No house hunting. They're getting bought up almost as soon as they're listed. Makes it really tough. Friday night saw my friend's son in a high school play - Richard Cory. Pretty entertaining. Truck battery died on me, but fortunately I didn't get stranded and was able to replace it easy enough. $130 I wish I didn't have to spend, though. Hockey game was a loss. I got a goal, but we ended up losing 9-7. We only had 7 skaters. If we'd had one or two more, we could have won easily. We just didn't have the gas to keep up with only two subs.

Oh, and I got my enderman farm working at the initial stage. Just need to add layers to have it pumping out mobs.

Hope everyone had a great weekend!

WoW: All the minor little things that take up so much of my gaming time...gathering, working on inscrip, dailies, randoms, maybe a lfr or two.
When I previously said I was looking at a break, maybe coming soon, I think I confirmed that today when I downloaded and ran the benchmark for a certain FF game I've been waiting years for. It's looking really good. As I said on that forum, I think I've already moved on in my head. So the closed Beta there starts Monday, which leads me to think the break will take place in April or May, hoping sooner tho.
RL: More snow heading east, so the garage is on hold. I'm sure my girl will find something to do for us both.

Did the herbing and inscrip, worked on my s/priest and monk, totally ignored my mage and lock and their endless dailies. A few heroics with my brother and guildies, and that was it. Found a few rare pets in Outland, but haven't been leveling them much lately. I may work on that this week.
No snow, so spent Saturday cleaning out the garage and checking out the garden supplies to make a list of stuff we'll need in a month or so.
Meanwhile, I check my email for a FFXIV Beta invite every half hour. Smiley: dubious
