Also still looking for the Scourged Whelpling. Took a look after server reset yesterday, but the campers must have already gotten them by the time I logged back in.

Baby Ape - Check!
Silithid Hatchling - Check!
Finally got the sandstorm in Tanaris last night. It lasted long enough that I was able to hunt down a rare Silithid Hatchling. Once the storm is going the hatchling are all over the in the bug areas (Noxious Lair and Gaping Chasm). Plenty to go around.
The Baby Ape was a nail biter. I turned on my computer and logged into WoW while I was waiting for my Hot Pocket to microwave. Instead of waiting by the microwave, I decided to log into my toon camped on Jaquero Island. Boom! Rain! I quickly checked to make sure the level of pets I had out was appropriate, and lost a spawn to another camper in the process. But, nabbed the next one I could. It was only an uncommon, but oh well. I trapped it and got the achievement for EK Safari, yay! I was able to make one round of the island looking for more spawns before the rain stopped. So, if I'd waited at the microwave, I would have missed the rain...phew!
Still looking for the Scourged Whelpling and the Giraffe Calf. Those two look to be really tough to get.
