Happy Thanksgiving my fellow Americans! To all you foreigners and ex-pats, ummmmm, happy November 23. I'm posting the goals thread early since it's a long weekend for a bunch of us and we would like to get extra things done.

I have the tiny terror until 3 pm tomorrow, then he goes to his mother's house and I'm free until Monday. I have a LOT of stuff to do around the house, but I have backup coming to make sure it gets done. I also need to go buy a new knob for my dryer as my current one broke this week and changing the timer setting with a wrench is not fun.

As far as WoW goes, I actually haven't logged on in a couple of weeks. I plan on logging on during this long holiday weekend and getting some stuff done.

In the meantime, I'll be in my kitchen soaking my turkey in a large bucket of yummy brine then waking up tomorrow to throw it in the oven and make some cornbread stuffing.

Enjoy your weekend everyone, whether it be Thanksgiving for you or not. I'll see you all on Monday!

Try to reach VP Cap on my rogue (whos now exalted with all yay kite mount/no more dailies with him), and Bacon my alt Warrior whom I do the bare minimum dailies with, also try to get my 75 monk to 80 or higher, god I hate Wrath/Cata (after leveling 11 other toons through Wrath it gets old quick.) or trying to decide if i should take one of my other 85's to 90 while the +8% xp thing is going on.

RL: Friends invited me to turkey day tomorrow so yeah after that gel through the weekend on wow, might do some Black Friday shopping if I see anything I want when i check the websites later tonight or tomorrow. One of the things I wanted I actually got cheaper (120 gig Kingston Hyper X 3k SSD for 64.99 @ Staples) then the actual Black Friday deal at the same place (Ad says 79.99 for the same hard drive)

WoW - Dink around on various characters. No real set goals or anything. Well I suppose it would be nice to get my warrior to 85 but I am not going to push myself at all.

RL - Had turkey day today (roommate has to work tomorrow). It is a good thing we had it today because by mid afternoon I broke out in a fever and all sort of flu symptoms. Yay?

Happy Thanksgiving to all.
Tomorrow will be one meal at my parents around 1-1:30pm. Will probably watch some football with my dad and family, staring at the tv in stupefied stuffedness. Then will head to gf's parents for another meal around 5. When we get home & squeeze thru the door, maybe I can park in front of my pc and do something in-game. Dunno what, no specific plans. Will be working on painting again over the weekend. I refuse to shop. Smiley: wink

I'd like to resub and get a feel for the game back, and then maybe I can buy MoP and level up 5 more times.

It is on sale this weekend. $20.

We Canadians have our Thanksgiving Day in late October like the weirdos we are. But I sure do appreciate the NFL games that are on during your Yank Thanksgiving Day--except today I completely forgot about them and never watched Detroit and Dallas blow yet another close game.

On Stormrage Alliance trade chat, someone called today the "White-Guys-Killed-the-Indians-and-Stole-Their-Land Day." If people are that broken up about the fate of the Indians, we should all move to Antarctica and give the Indians their ancestral land back. Anyone can do the easy things, but doing the tough things is what makes you a real man--or woman--and moving every white, black and hispanic person in America to Antarctica would be _very_ tough. Boy would it _ever_ make all of us real men and women. But my problem with that is that I came to Canada in 1975 and don't have a single ancestor or relative who had any contact whatsoever, direct or indirect, with the North American Indians until I first had contact with them in 1975. It's hard to figure out what to do with a guy like me, who can't even shoulder the guilt of his ancestors because there just ain't any relevant ancestors, and happens to be living in North America as a very happy and productive North American who has always treated Indians decently. If someone can figure out this problem I credit them with having the Wisdom of Solomon. Maybe next they can try to figure out the Middle East situation.

The thread I started conains all of my WoW information. The short version is that I'm levelling a brand new PvP warlock on a PvE server. She's gonna rotate WG and AB right from level 10 to about level 29 in order to farm looms for future clothies I plan to roll. After that, she'll just farm mats for the AH. I plan to take her Affliction and have her cast her DOTS and then run away on a regular basis in BGs. Yes, I know Demonology is the way to go, but I kinda like the idea of being able to cast DOTs from 40 yards away and be 100 yards away by the time the hordies die.

Not that much WoW stuff going on this weekend for me.

RL:
- Visit a lecture about the same topic my diploma thesis will be concerned with.
- Have dinner with my mother and her BF. Then spend the night at their house since the ride home would take too long.
- Tomorrow I'll drive home and then visit the gym.
- Tomorrow night a friend is celebrating the successful conclusion of his law degree.

WoW:
- Raid on Sunday.

Maybe I try to throw in a few dailies or achievements on Sunday before the raid but most likely I'll spend the first 3/4 of the day recuperating and being rather unproductive.
