Ok so here is my issue, since the last update I have been disconnecting at a stupid rate. On average about 10 times per instance or if i am soloing when I get a big heal. So usually when I am in combat I disconnect. I am wondering if anyone knows a solution to this and if so any help would be much appreciated :)
The last disconnect was me being a derp on my monk, flying kick away from Ook-Ook, jumping on a barrel and then immediately running into another barrel. The game punished me by disconnecting me. Other than that I haven't had any issue concerning the loss of a connection.

My only disconnects have been related to AH scans, which is always a possibility when doing them. If it's related to combat, I'd look at any addons you're using and see if one of them may be the culprit. Or like Criminy said, it could even be your modem/connection.
I've had like maybe 5 random DCs since xpack...

Interestingly, this happened last night to a few people in my guild. There was a period of about 5 minutes where a few guildies DC'ed. I had massive lag for those few minutes... then it cleared up.
Haven't seen anything other than that. Also, the guildies that had issues SEEMED to be from Florida (myself included). That might make it a local issue.

I just get random disconnects because whoever builds wifi network cards for PCs can't engineer their way out of a wet paper bag.
Luckily in January I'll be getting a new computer (27" iMac) which will completely smoke my current PC, so it's temporary.

I found the issue to the disconnection. I was disconnecting because of the addon Mik's Scolling Battle text. When I disabled it the disconnections completely stopped. I loved using this addon and would still like to use it but I dont want to get disconnected. Is there any solutions to this???
Have you updated it? I've been using MSBT since MoP launched and it is not causing disconnects on my end. There are also other combat test addons such as Parrot or SCT that you could try.
Yeah, as much as I hate to say it, I keep 98% of my addons up to date with the Curse Client and I've had very minimal problems.
